Interdisciplinary Group definition

Interdisciplinary Group means a group of Hospice employees including, but not limited to, a doctor of medicine or osteopathy, registered nurse, and a pastoral or other counselor, who are responsible for:
Interdisciplinary Group or “IDG” means the assembly of hospice employees, which has represented on it the core team services and may, in addition, have physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and home health aide services.
Interdisciplinary Group means the group responsible for assessing the health care and special needs of the patient and the patient's family. Providers of special services, such as mental health, pharmacy, and any other appropriate associated health services may also be included on the team as the needs of the patient dictate. The interdisciplinary group is often referred to as the IDG.
