Interconnection System Upgrades definition

Interconnection System Upgrades means the minimum necessary upgrades to the System that would not have been required but for an Interconnection Request, including (i) upgrades necessary to remove overloads and voltage criteria violations, and (ii) upgrades necessary to remedy short-circuit and/or stability problems resulting from the connection of the Facility to the System. Interconnection System Upgrades shall not include upgrades to the System that may be required to move power from the Point of Interconnection to load and shall not include Manitoba Hydro Interconnection Facilities. Interconnection System Upgrades are identified in Appendix A to the Agreement and are owned by Manitoba Hydro.
Interconnection System Upgrades means the additions, modifications, and upgrades to the EPE Transmission System, including Protective Equipment and Metering Equipment, required beyond the Interconnection Point to accommodate the interconnection of the Facility to the EPE Transmission System through the EPE Interconnection Facilities as identified in Appendix B, including any modifications, additions, or upgrades made to such facilities.
Interconnection System Upgrades means the minimum necessary upgrades to the System that would not have been required but for an Interconnection Request as identified in Appendix A to the Agreement and are owned by Manitoba Hydro;

Examples of Interconnection System Upgrades in a sentence

  • Manitoba Hydro Interconnection Facilities and Interconnection System Upgrades shall be owned by Manitoba Hydro.

  • NRIS requires Interconnection Facilities and Interconnection System Upgrades, along with any required Network Upgrades.

  • Further, all of the Interconnection System Upgrades will be constructed on the KU system and ECEP will interconnect only with the KU system.

  • Generator and Manitoba Hydro hereby acknowledge and agree that the cost indicated below is only an estimate and that Generator hereby agrees to and shall reimburse Manitoba Hydro for all actual costs associated with the construction and installation by Manitoba Hydro of Manitoba Hydro Interconnection Facilities and the Interconnection System Upgrades.

  • Manitoba Hydro has the right, upon written notice to Generator, to suspend, at any time until the cure or remedy thereof, work by Manitoba Hydro and the incurrence of additional expenses associated with the construction and installation of the Manitoba Hydro Interconnection Facilities and/or the Interconnection System Upgrades upon the occurrence of a Default by Generator pursuant to Section 11.1.

Related to Interconnection System Upgrades

  • Interconnection Service(s means any Interconnection, Resale Services, 251(c)(3) UNEs, Collocation, functions, facilities, products or services offered under this Agreement.

  • Interconnection is As Defined in the Act.

  • Interconnection Service means the physical and electrical interconnection of the Customer Facility with the Transmission System pursuant to the terms of Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI and the Interconnection Service Agreement entered into pursuant thereto by Interconnection Customer, the Interconnected Transmission Owner and Transmission Provider. Interconnection Service Agreement:

  • Production System means a live SAP system used for running Licensee’s internal business operations and where Licensee’s data is recorded.

  • Transmission System Operator means a natural or legal person responsible for operating, ensuring the maintenance of and, if necessary, developing the transmission system in a given area and, where applicable, its interconnections with other systems, and for ensuring the long-term ability of the system to meet reasonable demands for the transmission of electricity;

  • Electric System Upgrades means any Network Upgrades, Distribution Upgrades, or Interconnection Facilities that are determined to be necessary by the CAISO or Participating Transmission Owner, as applicable, to physically and electrically interconnect the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric system for receipt of Energy at the Point of Interconnection (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) if connecting to the CAISO Grid, or the Interconnection Point, if connecting to a part of the Participating TO’s electric system that is not part of the CAISO Grid.

  • Interconnection Facilities means the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities and the Customer Interconnection Facilities.

  • Interconnect means to connect an alarm system including an automatic dialing device to a telephone line, either directly or through a mechanical device that utilizes a telephone, for the purpose of using the telephone line to transmit a message upon the activation of the alarm system.

  • Irrigation System means such major, medium and minor irrigation system for harnessing water for irrigation and other allied uses from Government source and includes reservoirs, open head channels, diversion systems, lift irrigation schemes, anicuts, tanks, wells and the like.

  • Customer Interconnection Facilities means all facilities and equipment owned and/or controlled, operated and maintained by Interconnection Customer on Interconnection Customer’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in the appropriate appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions, or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System.

  • Interconnection Customer means a Generation Interconnection Customer and/or a Transmission Interconnection Customer.

  • Interconnection Point means the point(s) of connection(s) at which the project is connected to the grid i.e. it shall be at 11 / 22 kV bus bar level of substation of MSEDCL.

  • Leak-detection system means a system capable of detecting the failure of either the primary or secondary containment structure or the presence of a release of hazardous waste or accumulated liquid in the secondary containment structure. Such a system must employ operational controls (e.g., daily visual inspections for releases into the secondary containment system of aboveground tanks) or consist of an interstitial monitoring device designed to detect continuously and automatically the failure of the primary or secondary containment structure or the presence of a release of hazardous waste into the secondary containment structure.

  • Transmission System means the facilities controlled or operated by the Transmission Provider within the PJM Region that are used to provide transmission service under Tariff, Part II and Part III. Transmission Withdrawal Rights:

  • 911 system means the set of network, database and customer premise equipment (CPE) components required to provide 911 service.

  • Interconnection equipment means a group of components or an integrated system owned and operated by the interconnection customer that connects an electric generator with a local electric power system, as that term is defined in Section 3.1.6.2 of IEEE Standard 1547, or with the electric distribution system. Interconnection equipment is all interface equipment including switchgear, protective devices, inverters or other interface devices. Interconnection equipment may be installed as part of an integrated equipment package that includes a generator or other electric source.

  • interconnected system means a number of transmission and distribution systems linked together by means of one or more interconnectors;

  • Interconnector means equipment used to link the electricity system of the State to electricity systems outside of the State;

  • Interconnection Provider means PacifiCorp Transmission.

  • Interconnection Service Agreement means an agreement among the Transmission Provider, an Interconnection Customer and an Interconnected Transmission Owner regarding interconnection under Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI.

  • Transportation System means the facilities at any time in place to receive Shipper’s Gas at the Entry Point(s), process, handle, transport and redeliver the Gas at the Exit Point(s), in accordance with the Transportation Agreement, as detailed in Transportation System Description.

  • Interconnection Regulations means the Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Interconnection (Addressable Systems) Regulations, 2017 (as amended).

  • Electrical Interconnection Facilities means the equipment and facilities required to safely and reliably interconnect a Facility to the transmission system of the Transmitting Utility, including the collection system between each Bloom System, transformers and all switching, metering, communications, control and safety equipment, including the facilities described in any applicable Interconnection Agreement.

  • MERS(R) System The system of recording transfers of Mortgages electronically maintained by MERS.

  • Surplus Interconnection Service means any unneeded portion of Interconnection Service established in an Interconnection Service Agreement, such that if Surplus Interconnection Service is utilized, the total amount of Interconnection Service at the Point of Interconnection would remain the same. Switching and Tagging Rules:

  • Carrier Access Billing System (“CABS”) is the system which is defined in a document prepared under the direction of the Billing Committee of the OBF. The CABS document is published by Telcordia in Volumes 1, 1A, 2, 3, 3A, 4 and 5 as Special Reports SR-OPT-001868, SR-OPT-0011869, SR-OPT-001871, SR-OPT- 001872, SR-OPT-001873, SR-OPT-001874, and SR-OPT-001875, respectively, and contains the recommended guidelines for the billing of access and other connectivity services. Sprint’s carrier access billing system is its Carrier Access Support System (CASS). CASS mirrors the requirements of CABS.
