Integrated treatment means a service that includes both substance use and mental health assessment and treatment services, provided in the same setting, by appropriately credentialed personnel operating within their scope of practice, with appropriate interventions for both conditions included in one comprehensive treatment plan for each patient diagnosed with a co- occurring disorder or disorders.
