Integrated Operations means those certain primary aluminum smelting, aluminum fabricating, gold mining and refining operations Alcoa facilities that exist as of the formation of the Enterprise and are run as part of an integrated operation at certain of the locations included within the Enterprise.

Integrated Operations is given to the combination of the former University of Louisville Hospital and KentuckyOne Health with the exception of unspecified services that KentuckyOne Health is prohibited from doing. These unspecified services are here euphemistically called “Maintained Procedures” but were previously termed the “Prohibited Services.” These include procedures and services bared by the Ethical and Religious Guidelines of the Catholic Church.
