Instrument runway definition

Instrument runway means one of the following types of runways intended for the operation of aircraft using instrument approach procedures:
Instrument runway means a runway equipped or to be equipped with electronic or visual air navigation aids adequate to permit the landing of aircraft under restricted visibility conditions.
Instrument runway means a runway having an existing instrument approach procedure utilizing air navigation facilities or area type navigation equipment, for which an instrument approach procedure has been approved or planned.
