Institution IP definition

Institution IP means all Intellectual Property other than the MedImmune IP that is conceived, generated or otherwise made exclusively by the Institution and any of its representatives under or in connection with the Study.

For the avoidance of doubt, MedImmune Study Drug Inventions also include any inventions relating (a) to the Study Drug metabolic activity, pharmacological activity, side effects, drug metabolism, mechanism of action, safety, or drug interactions, or (b) to biomarkers, assays, diagnostic methods or diagnostic products, which may be used to predict patient response or resistance to the MedImmune Study Drug or be used in any way to select patients for treatment with the MedImmune Study Drug. Institution IP means all Intellectual Property other than the AstraZeneca IP that is conceived, generated or otherwise made by the Institution, the Principal Investigator or any Study Site Staff (other than AstraZeneca) under or in connection with a Study.

Examples of Institution IP in a sentence

  • Third Party Intellectual Property Rights means any Intellectual Property owned by a third party.

  • Registered Intellectual Property means all applications, registrations and filings for Intellectual Property Rights that have been registered, filed, certified or otherwise perfected or recorded with or by any state, government or other public or quasi-public legal authority anywhere in the world, including the United States Patent and Trademark Office or United States Copyright Office, including issued Patents and Patent applications, registered Trademarks and Trademark applications, registered Copyrights and Copyright applications, and domain name registrations and applications.

  • Product Intellectual Property means all of the following related to a Divestiture Product (other than Product Licensed Intellectual Property):
