Inspector(s) of Election definition

Inspector(s) of Election means and refers to the person or persons appointed by the Board of Directors to tabulate ballots and report on the outcome of any election and to discharge the other duties and responsibilities stated in Civil Code section 5110(c) and Section 7.05(d), below. In accordance with Civil Code section 5110(a), there shall be either one or three Inspectors of Election, however the person(s) designated as such may appoint and oversee additional persons to verify signatures and to count and tabulate votes so long as those other designees are independent third parties. Although selection of the Inspector or Inspectors of Election remains in the discretion of the Board, the following individuals are eligible to serve as the Association’s Inspector of Election: (i) an independent third party such as a volunteer poll worker with the County registrar of voters, a licensee of the California Board of Accountancy, a notary public, or the Association’s legal counsel; (ii) Members of the Association who are not members of the Board of Directors or candidates for election to the Board. No person or business entity that is currently employed by, or under contract with, the Master Association may serve as an Inspector of Election.

  • Any report made by the Inspector(s) of Election is prima facie evidence of the facts stated in the report.

  • Appoint and oversee additional independent third parties to verify signatures, and to count and tabulate votes as the Inspectors of Election deem appropriate provided that such persons are independent third parties.

  • A Private Improvements in the Public Right-of-Way (formerly Indemnity) Agreement will be required if planters are proposed to be located within the Town’s right-of-way.

  • The Inspector(s) of Election, and any designees, will immediately conduct a recount of the ballots.

Related to Inspector(s) of Election

  • Inspectors shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5(n) hereof.

  • Company Board of Directors means the board of directors of the Company.

  • Nomination Committee means the nomination committee of the Board established in accordance with Article 116;

  • The Board of Directors or "Board" means all those persons appointed to perform the duties of directors of the society;

  • Nominating Committee means the nominating committee of the board of directors of the Company established pursuant to the Articles, or any successor committee.

  • Board of Director or “Board” means the Board of Directors of Omaxe Limited, as constituted from time to time.

  • Nominations Committee means the nominations committee established pursuant to Article 100(k).

  • New Directors means any director whose election by the Board or whose nomination for election by the Company's stockholders was approved by a vote of at least two-thirds of the directors then still in office who were Present Directors or New Directors.

  • Board of Directors means the board of directors of the Company.

  • Governance Committee means the Governance Committee of the Board.

  • Full Board means the authorized number of voting members of the Board of Education.

  • Inspector shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(a)(xiv) hereof.

  • Hearing Board means the shoreline hearings board established by this chapter.

  • Candidate Committee means a committee established by a candidate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-9(a), for the purpose of receiving contributions and making expenditures.

  • Independent Directors means the members of the Board of Directors who are not officers or employees of the Manager or any Person directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Manager, and who are otherwise “independent” in accordance with the NYSE’s corporate governance listing standards (or the rules of any other national securities exchange on which the Common Stock is listed).

  • Chairman of the Board means the Chairman of the Board of the Corporation.

  • Member board means a state agency in a member state that acts in the sovereign interests of the state by protecting the public through licensure, regulation, and education of physicians as directed by the state government.

  • Board of Directors or Board means the Board of Directors of Betex India Limited, as constituted from time to time.

  • Independent Board Committee means the independent board committee of the Company

  • CPF Board means the Central Provident Fund Board, a body corporate established under the Central Provident Fund Act (Cap. 36);

  • Relevant Nominating Body means, in respect of a benchmark or screen rate (as applicable):

  • Lead inspector means an individual who has been licensed by the Board to conduct lead inspections and abatement clearance testing.

  • Selection Committee means a committee of individual(s) who evaluate and rank proposals; conduct negotiations; and makes a contract award recommendation to the District and its respective Committees.

  • Hearing Committee means the committee appointed pursuant to this Plan to hear a request for an evidentiary hearing that has been properly filed and pursued by a practitioner.

  • MUSL Board means the governing body of the MUSL, which is comprised of the chief executive officer of each Party Lottery.
