Innovation district definition

Innovation district means an area located entirely within a downtown redevelopment district, enclosed by a continuous boundary, and equipped with a high-speed broadband network capable of download speeds of at least one hundred gigabits per second.

Innovation district means that geographic area in the downtown of Chattanooga which is approximately a quarter mile walk radius from the intersection of M.L. King Blvd. and Georgia Avenue and is intended to be a catalytic mix of start-up businesses, business incubators and accelerators alongside innovation economy generators & amenities - available in a dense, walkable urban core.
