Inland port authority means the Utah Inland Port Authority, created in Section 11-58-201.
Port Authority means the Port Hedland Port Authority, being the body corporate established for the Port under the Port Authorities Act;
Airport Authority means any city or any public or private board or other body or organization chartered or otherwise established for the purpose of administering, operating or managing airports or related facilities, which in each case is an owner, administrator, operator or manager of one or more airports or related facilities.

Highway authority means the state highway commission, a board of county road commissioners or the governing body of a city or village.
Antitrust Authority means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice or the United States Federal Trade Commission.

Insurance Regulatory Authority means, with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department or similar Governmental Authority charged with regulating insurance companies or insurance holding companies, in its jurisdiction of domicile and, to the extent that it has regulatory authority over such Insurance Subsidiary, in each other jurisdiction in which such Insurance Subsidiary conducts business or is licensed to conduct business.

Applicable Insurance Regulatory Authority means the insurance department or similar insurance regulatory or administrative authority or agency of the jurisdiction in which the Company is domiciled.

Water Authority means the body corporate known as the Water Authority of Western Australia established by the Water Authority Xxx 0000;
Virginia Stormwater Management Program authority or "VSMP authority" means an authority approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, to operate a Virginia Stormwater Management Program.
Football Authority means each of the Premier League, The Football League, The Football Association, The Football Association of Wales, FIFA, UEFA and other relevant governing body of association football.
Public or private safety agency means a unit of state or local government, a special purpose district, or a private firm, which provides or has the authority to provide firefighting, police, ambulance, emergency medical services or hazardous materials response.
Cemetery authority means any person who owns or operates a cemetery specified in s. 157.065 (1).
Franchising Authority means any Governmental Authority authorized by any federal, state or local law to grant a Franchise or to exercise jurisdiction over the rates or services provided by a cable television system pursuant to a Franchise or over Persons holding a Franchise.
Michigan state housing development authority means the public body corporate and politic created by Section 21 of the State Housing Development Authority Act of 1966, 1966 PA 346, MCL 125.1421.
IWAI/ Authority/ Department/ Owner means the Inland Waterways Authority of India, which invites tenders on behalf of the Chairman, IWAI and includes therein-legal representatives, successors and assigns.
Investment authority means the responsibility conferred by action of law or a provision of an appropriate governing instrument to make, select or change investments, review investment decisions made by others, or to provide investment advice or counsel to others;
Regulatory Laws means the HSR Act, the Xxxxxxx Antitrust Act of 1890, as amended, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, the Xxxxxxx Act of 1914, as amended, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, the Federal Trade Commission Act of 1914, as amended, and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, and any other federal, state and foreign statutes, rules, regulations, orders, decrees, administrative and judicial doctrines and other Laws that are designed or intended to prohibit, restrict or regulate actions having the purpose or effect of monopolization or restraint of trade or lessening of competition through merger or acquisition.
Governmental Entity means any national, federal, state, municipal, local, territorial, foreign or other government or any department, commission, board, bureau, agency, regulatory authority or instrumentality thereof, or any court, judicial, administrative or arbitral body or public or private tribunal.
Governmental Body means any government or governmental or regulatory body thereof, or political subdivision thereof, whether federal, state, local or foreign, or any agency, instrumentality or authority thereof, or any court or arbitrator (public or private).

Regulatory Flood Protection Elevation means the “Base Flood Elevation” plus the “Freeboard”. In “Special Flood Hazard Areas” where Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) have been determined, this elevation shall be the BFE plus two (2) feet of freeboard. In “Special Flood Hazard Areas” where no BFE has been established, this elevation shall be at least two (2) feet above the highest adjacent grade.
Foreign central authority means the entity designated by a foreign country described in section 102(e)(iv) to perform the functions specified in the Convention.
