Initial Principal Amount definition

Initial Principal Amount means, with respect to any Series or Class (or Subclass) of Notes, the aggregate initial principal amount of such Series or Class (or Subclass) of Notes specified in the applicable Series Supplement.
Initial Principal Amount means, when used in the context of a reference to an individual Class of Notes, the initial principal amount applicable to such Class as defined above.
Initial Principal Amount shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in the introductory paragraph of this Note.

  • To the extent this Note has been Written-Down in part, the Issuer may Write-Up this Note up to a maximum of its Initial Principal Amount pursuant to Condition 6.5. Accordingly, the Prevailing Principal Amount of this Note at any time shall be the Initial Principal Amount of this Note as reduced (on one or more occasions) by any Write-Down or increased (on one or more occasions) by any Write-Up, in each case at or prior to such time.

More Definitions of Initial Principal Amount

Initial Principal Amount of any Note means the principal amount of such Note at the time of original issuance of such Note. For the avoidance of doubt, the “Initial Principal Amount” of each minimum denomination of Notes on their issue date shall be US$1.00 and integral multiples in excess thereof.
Initial Principal Amount in relation to each Note means the initial face principal amount of that Note upon issue of the relevant Global Note relating to that Note.
Initial Principal Amount means, in respect of a Senior Note, the initial principal amount attributable to such Senior Note upon issue and which is to be set out in the Register and, in respect of a Variable Funding Note, the initial principal amount attributable to such Variable Funding Note upon issue which is to be set out in the FCT Register.
