Infrastructure as a Service definition

Infrastructure as a Service. (IaaS) means the capability provided to the consumer is to provision processing, storage, networks and other fundamental computing resources where the consumer is able to deploy and run arbitrary software, which can include operating systems and applications. The consumer does not manage or control the underlying cloud infrastructure but has control over operating systems, storage, deployed application; and possibly limited control of select networking components (e.g., host firewalls).

Infrastructure as a Service or “IaaS” means a cloud accessible hardware environment provided by a third party for the purpose of hosting Customer’s Software licenses and Customer’s data.

Infrastructure as a Service means an instant computing infrastructure, provisioned and managed over the internet.

Infrastructure as a Service or “IaaS” means a service provided by MicroPact in a shared or dedicated environment that includes a physical data center, with associated physical security, backups, power, operating systems, databases, application Servers, internet, and connectivity. IaaS does not include Licensed Software.
