Information Privacy or Security Laws definition

Information Privacy or Security Laws means HIPAA and the implementing regulations and any other law concerning the privacy or security of Personal Information, including state data breach notification laws, state health information privacy laws, the FTC Act, the FTC Red Flag Rules and state consumer protection laws. “Personal Information” means any information with respect to which there is a reasonable basis to believe that the information can be used to identify an individual, including “individually identifiable health information” as defined in 45 C.F.R. 160.103, demographic information, and Social Security numbers.
Information Privacy or Security Laws means HIPAA and any other Requirement of Law concerning the privacy or security of personal information, including state data breach notification laws, state health information privacy laws, and state consumer protection laws.

Information Privacy or Security Laws means, as to any Person, to the extent its operations are subject thereto, ARRA, HIPAA, as the same now exists or may hereafter from time to time be amended, modified, recodified or supplemented, together with all rules and regulations thereunder; any federal or state statutes, regulations, or guidance regarding privacy and security of the use, disclosure, storage, maintenance, transmission, encryption, access to, and privacy of, individually-identifiable health information or other non-public personal information.
Information Privacy or Security Laws means HIPAA and regulations as set forth in Section 4.23(a), the Michigan Identify Theft Protection Act, Act 452 of 2004, MCL 445.61 – 445.67, and any other Legal Requirements concerning the privacy and/or security of Personal Information, including state data breach notification laws, state patient, medical record and health information privacy laws, the Federal Trade Commission Act and state consumer protection laws; and (ii) “Personal Information” means any information with respect to which there is a reasonable basis to believe that the information can be used to identify an individual, including “individually identifiable health information” as defined in 45 C.F.R. § 160.103, demographic information, and social security numbers and such other personally identifiable information protected by applicable Michigan law.
Information Privacy or Security Laws has the meaning specified in Section 4.18(c).
Information Privacy or Security Laws means HIPAA and any regulations promulgated thereunder, and all other Laws concerning the privacy or security of Personal Information, including any applicable foreign Laws, state data breach notification Laws, and state health information privacy Laws. “Insolvency Proceeding” means, with respect to any Person, any proceeding by or against such Person under the United States Bankruptcy Code, or any other bankruptcy or insolvency law in the United States or other applicable jurisdiction, including assignments for the benefit of creditors, compositions, extensions generally with its creditors, or proceedings seeking reorganization, arrangement, or other relief. “Intellectual Property” means all: (a) Copyrights, Trademarks, and Patents; (b) trade secrets and trade secret rights, including any rights to unpatented inventions, know-how, show-how and operating manuals; (c) (i) all computer programs, including source code and object code versions, (ii) all data, databases and compilations of data, whether machine readable or otherwise, and (iii) all documentation, training materials and configurations related to any of the foregoing (collectively, “Software”); (d) all right, title and interest arising under any contract or Requirements of Law in or relating to Internet domain names; (e) design rights; (f) IP Ancillary Rights (including all IP Ancillary Rights related to any of the foregoing); and -93-
