Information Laws definition

Information Laws means the Freedom of Information Xxx 0000, the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, the Data Protection Act 1998 and any codes of practice and guidance made pursuant to the same as amended or replaced from time to time;
Information Laws means (a) all Applicable Laws concerning the privacy and/or security of Personal Information including, where applicable, HIPAA, state data breach notification Laws, state social security number protection Laws and the Section V of the Federal Trade Commission Act (as it relates to Personal Information); and (b) all applicable Payment Card Industry Security Standards with respect to account data protection.
Information Laws means all applicable Legal Requirements concerning the privacy and/or security of personal data of or concerning an individual (including “Protected Health Information” as that term is defined under HIPAA), including, where applicable, HIPAA, the HITECH Act and state data breach notification Legal Requirements.

Parts 160, 162 and 164) promulgated under the Administrative Simplifications subtitle of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and any other statutory or regulatory requirements arising from the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (the HITECH Act), ARRA, state data breach notification Laws, state social security number protection Laws, the FTC Act, the Xxxxx-Xxxxx-Xxxxxx Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act and state consumer protection Laws.
Information Laws means all Laws, rules of self-regulatory organizations, published industry standards, or requirements of any contract, applicable to or binding upon Company or any of its Subsidiaries, concerning the confidentiality, nondisclosure, privacy, or security of data or information or the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, transmission, storage, management, control, security, hosting, disposal, retention, processing, analysis, or other handling thereof.

Parts160 and 164, Subparts A and C) promulgated under the Administrative Simplifications subtitle of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996; (ii) any other statutory or regulatory requirements arising from the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (the HITECH Act) or any other provision of ARRA; (iii) state security breach and data breach notification Laws; (iv) state social security number protection and other state privacy Laws; (v) the FTC Act, (vi) the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, (viii) the Fair Credit Reporting Act, (viii) the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act and (ix) state consumer protection Laws, in each case, as such Laws, rules, and regulations may be amended from time to time.
