Ineligible Expenses definition

Ineligible Expenses means Ineligible Expenses as defined in Appendix A;

Ineligible Expenses means any cost that does not qualify as an Eligible Expense. For avoidance of doubt, "Ineligible Expenses" Includes all of the following:

Ineligible Expenses means expenses not reimbursable by the Grant under the Program, the Guidance, or the Guidelines; expenses not timely requested; expenses for which insufficient explanation or documentation is provided; and expenses for which reimbursement is not requested in accordance with the submission instructions established by the Program;

Examples of Ineligible Expenses in a sentence

• Alberta Innovates will have no liability or obligation to reimburse the Applicant for any Project Costs incurred after the effective date of termination and may require the Applicant to return any portions of the Investment which were spent on Ineligible Expenses.

• It is a condition of the Investment that Alberta Innovates has the right to require the Applicant to repay to Alberta Innovates any portions of the Investment which were used to cover Ineligible Expenses, and such amount shall constitute a debt immediately owing and repayable on demand by the Applicant to Alberta Innovates.

• It is a condition of the Investment that Alberta Innovates has the right to require the Applicant and/or the Service Provider to repay to Alberta Innovates any portions of the Investment which such Party used to cover Ineligible Expenses, and such amount shall constitute a debt owing and repayable by the Applicant to Alberta Innovates.

• It is a condition of the Investment that Alberta Innovates has the right to require the Alberta Applicant to repay to Alberta Innovates any portions of the Investment which were used to cover Ineligible Expenses, and such amount shall constitute a debt immediately owing and repayable on demand by the Alberta Applicant to Alberta Innovates.

• If there are Ineligible Expenses indicated, mark the statement of internal costs and/or invoice and reduce the Statement of Internal Costs and/or Invoice Total below; Manually number all statements of internal costs and/or invoices to correspond with the numbering below; Statement of internal costs and/or Invoice start and end dates must fit within the applicable Expected Milestone start date and end date being reported.

Ineligible Expenses shall have the meaning defined in Exhibit B to this Agreement.

Ineligible Expenses has the meaning given to it in Section 4.4 of Schedule “A”.

Ineligible Expenses means expenses which are ineligible for operational grant funding, this includes, but is not limited to:

Ineligible Expenses means expenses that are not eligible for payment under this Agreement, as listed in section 4.2,

Ineligible Expenses means expenses (as further described in Appendix B) that do not meet the Eligibility Requirements for reimbursement and are not eligible for reimbursement by the IESO pursuant to Section 4.

Internal Resource means one or more employees (including a CEC) of the Recipient or, where applicable, of the Joint Recipients collectively, that are devoted to a Project, provided that: (a) the employee(s) carrying out the Work is reasonably qualified and have the requisite skills and experience to accomplish the task to a reasonable standard and within a reasonable period of time; (b) the number of hours devoted by such employee(s) reflects the number of hours that would be required to accomplish such Work by an appropriately qualified and experienced individual working reasonably efficiently; (c) the person/hours recorded and accounted for are true and accurate; and (d) the dollar amount expended, per hour and in aggregate, by an employee is consistent with and comparable to the per hour and aggregate expenditures in respect of such employee for services provided to the Recipient by such employee other than in relation to the Project. Invoices means copies of invoices, bills or receipts issued by an External Resource, relating to Eligible External Expenses, that must include at a minimum the following information: (a) an itemized written document addressed to the Recipient on the External Resource’s letterhead outlining the expenses incurred by the Recipient with respect to the Work being undertaken by the External Resource; (b) detailed description of the Work carried out; (c) names of Persons or entities retained to carry out the Work; (d) the time frame (start date to completion date) in which the Work was conducted; (e) hours, hourly wages and total expenditures for each Person or entity for the Work or Costs associated in completing the Work; and (f) the total Cost and hours of the Work reflected in the body of the invoice. Joint Recipient means, where more than one Recipient is a party to the Funding Agreement, any of the Recipients. Lead Recipient means, in the case of Joint Recipients, the Joint Recipient that has been designated as the Recipient under the Funding Agreement to be the primary contact that represents all Joint Recipients for the purposes of notices, other communications, instructions, and payment of funding.
