industrial effluent means any liquid, whether or not containing matter in solution or suspension, which is emitted in the course of or as a result of any trade or industrial operation, including a mining operation, and includes any liquid besides soil water or waste water or stormwater;
industrial effluent means any liquid, whether or not containing matter in solution or suspension, which is given off in the course of or as a result of any trade, manufacturing, mining, chemical or other industrial process or in any laboratory, or in the course of research, or agricultural activity, and includes any liquid or effluent emanating from the use of water, other than standard domestic effluent or stormwater, and "trade effluent" bears the same meaning;
industrial effluent means effluent emanating from the use of water for industrial purposes and includes for purposes of these by-laws any effluent other than standard domestic effluent or storm water;

The Concessionaire shall be entitled in consultation with the Council to set minimum standards from time to time, in respect of the technical specifications and conditions to which Industrial Effluent must comply prior to the discharge thereof by the Consumers into the Sanitation Services Works including circumstances under which the provision and disposal may be limited.
The Concessionaire shall conform to the Regulatory Provisions in respect of the management and acceptance of Industrial Effluent and with the requirements for Industrial Effluent as set out in the quality specification annexed hereto marked Annexure B4.
