Index Performance definition

Index Performance means, in relation to an Index and an Auto-Call Valuation Date or the Valuation Date, as the case may be, a percentage calculated by the Calculation Agent in respect of such date in accordance with the following formula: Index Performance =Final Index Level × 100% Initial Index Level
Index Performance means in respect of an Index the percentage appreciation or depreciation of the Final IndexLevel compared to its Initial IndexLevel.
Index Performance means the performance of the Index over the term of the Index-linked Note, as determined by the Calculation Agent in accordance with the following formula:

Examples of Index Performance in a sentence

  • Auto-Call Trigger Event means an event which occurs if, in the determination of the Calculation Agent, the Worst Performing Index Performance as of the Valuation Time on an Auto-Call Valuation Date is greater than or equal to the relevant Auto-Call Trigger Level.

  • Final Index Performance means the Index Performance in respect of the Valuation Date.

  • Auto-Call Trigger Event means an event which occurs if, in the determination of the Calculation Agent, the Index Performance as of the Valuation Time on an Auto-Call Valuation Date is greater than or equal to the relevant Auto-Call Trigger Level.

  • The Index Performance is a percentage representing any appreciation or depreciation in the relevant Index or the worst performing of the Indices comprised in a basket of Indices in comparison to the initial level of the relevant Index or the worst performing Index comprised in a basket of Indices.

  • In relation to a basket of Indices, the Calculation Agent will take the Index Performance of the worst performing Index (the "Worst Performing Index Performance") in the relevant basket in order to make the necessary calculations.

Index Performance means in respect of an Index the percentage appreciation or depreciation of the Final Index Level compared to its Initial Index Level.
