Independent Employer definition

Independent Employer means an employer who is bound by this Agreement by signing the signature page of this Agreement.
Independent Employer means any person, firm, or corporation who signs this Agreement or any copy thereof and thereby agrees to the terms of this agreement or any amendments, modifications, or extensions to the Agreement negotiated and agreed to by and between the Association and the Union.

The term “affiliated employee” does not include those individuals who perform only intermittent or incidental services with respect to the government assistance or contract, or who are otherwise employed by the contractor, recipient or subcontractor.
