Incremental Deliverability Rights definition

Incremental Deliverability Rights or “IDRs” shall mean the rights to the incremental ability, resulting from the addition of Merchant Transmission Facilities, to inject energy and capacity at a point on the Transmission System, such that the injection satisfies the deliverability requirements of a Capacity Resource. Incremental Deliverability Rights may be obtained by a generator or a Generation Interconnection Customer, pursuant to an IDR Transfer Agreement, to satisfy, in part, the deliverability requirements necessary to obtain Capacity Interconnection Rights.

Examples of Incremental Deliverability Rights in a sentence

  • An agreement to transfer, subject to the terms of Section 49B of the Tariff, Incremental Deliverability Rights to a party for the purpose of eliminating or reducing the need for Local or Network Upgrades that would otherwise have been the responsibility of the party receiving such rights.

  • Incremental Deliverability Rights may be obtained by a generator or a Generation Interconnection Customer, pursuant to an IDR Transfer Agreement, to satisfy, in part, the deliverability requirements necessary to obtain Capacity Interconnection Rights.

  • Pursuant to Section 235 of the Tariff, Interconnection Customer shall have Incremental Deliverability Rights at each indicated Point of Interconnection in the following quantity(ies): None.

  • If applicable, the studies for a Transmission Porject Developer New Service Request shall also include a preliminary estimate of the Incremental Deliverability Rights associated with the customer’s proposed Merchant Transmission Facilities.

  • Interconnection customers can elect TWRs in lieu of Incremental Deliverability Rights, Incremental Auction Revenue Rights, Incremental Capacity Transfer Rights, and Incremental Available Transfer Capability Revenue Rights.

  • The deemed conversion of IDRs to Capacity Interconnection Rights under this Section 235.4 section 16.3.4 shall not affect application to such IDRs of the other provisions of Section 235 of the this Tariff, Part VIII, Subpart E, section 16.3. A Transmission Interconnection Customer Project Developer may return Incremental Deliverability Rights that it no longer desires at any time.

  • In the event that a Transmission Interconnection Customer Project developer returns Incremental Deliverability Rights, it shall have no further rights regarding such Incremental Deliverability Rights.

  • If applicable, the studies for a Transmission Project Developer New Service Request shall also include a preliminary estimate of the Incremental Deliverability Rights associated with the Transmission Project Developer’s proposed Merchant Transmission Facilities.

Related to Incremental Deliverability Rights

  • Incremental Available Transfer Capability Revenue Rights means the rights to revenues that are derived from incremental Available Transfer Capability created by the addition of Merchant Transmission Facilities or of one of more Customer-Funded Upgrades.

  • Incremental Auction Revenue Rights means the additional Auction Revenue Rights, not previously feasible, created by the addition of Incremental Rights-Eligible Required Transmission Enhancements, Merchant Transmission Facilities, or of one or more Customer- Funded Upgrades.
