In Flight definition

In Flight means the time commencing with the actual takeoff run of the Aircraft and continuing thereafter until it has completed its landing roll. If the Aircraft is a rotorcraft, from the time the rotors start to revolve under power for the purpose of flight until they subsequently cease to revolve.
In Flight. , as applied to aircraft, means from the start of its actual take-off run until it has completed its landing run, or in the case of a helicopter, from the time the rotors of the helicopter start to revolve preparatory to take-off until its rotors cease revolving after landing.
