Implementing Entities definition

Implementing Entities means the national legal entities and multilateral organizations that have been identified ex ante by the Board as meeting the criteria adopted by the Board, in accordance with decision 1/CMP.3, paragraph 5 (c), to access funding to implement concrete adaptation projects and programmes supported by the Fund;
Implementing Entities means any of the Recipient’s municipalities, Prefecturas or other public entities which meet the eligibility criteria set forth in the Operational Manual to carry out civil works under Part 2 of the Project.
Implementing Entities means all and any of the following: MPWU, PUB, OB, MELAD, MHMS, Island Councils, BTC and TUC.

  • At its twenty-sixth meeting the Board decided to request the secretariat to inform the Multilateral Implementing Entities and Regional Implementing Entities that the call for proposals under the Pilot Programme for Regional Projects and Programmes is still open and to encourage them to submit proposals to the Board at its 27th meeting, bearing in mind the cap established by Decision B.25/26.
