Immune Response definition

Immune Response means an immune state directed to the applicable infectious agents (or a molecule associated with such infectious agent) resulting from the modulation of activity (i.e., an increase, decrease and/or qualitatively different activity) of one or more lymphoid cells (e.g., B cells, NK cells, T cells and/or professional antigen-presenting cells, such as monocytes, macrophages, Langerhans cells, dendritic cells) following the administration of a stimulus.
