Immediate Families definition

Immediate Families means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step- grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or cousin.
Immediate Families means an individual’s children, stepchildren, and spouse. In this paragraph, “spouse” shall mean a husband, a wife, or a partner in a state-recognized domestic partnership or civil union.
Immediate Families means spouse, partner, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.

Examples of Immediate Families in a sentence

  • This provision does not apply to transactions of Independent Fund Directors and their Immediate Families.

  • This Code applies to Independent Fund Directors and requires Independent Fund Directors and their Immediate Families to report Securities Transactions to the Compliance Department in accordance with the trade reporting requirements (Section II.G.).

  • The following provisions do not apply to Independent Fund Trustees and their Immediate Families.

  • Dual Employees (and their Immediate Families) need only report their Security Transactions to the CCO (or their designee) at the entity that is responsible for their primary employment.

  • Notwithstanding the definition of Access Persons, the following provisions do not apply to Independent Fund Trustees and their Immediate Families.

  • This paragraph 3(a)(i) does not preclude an employee from entering into the Competition with respect to Eligible Purchases from a Participating Retailer of which they are not employed; or (b) members of the Immediate Families of the employees referred to at paragraph 3(a).

  • Subject to the personal securities trading pre-clearance procedures outlined in subsection D of this Policy, Access Persons and members of their Immediate Families may effect purchases upon the exercise of rights issued by an issuer pro rata to all holders of a class of its Securities, to the extent such rights were acquired from such issuer, and sales of such rights so acquired, and the Security was held by the employee prior to becoming subject to this Policy.

  • Access Persons or members of their Immediate Families may dispose of a Beneficial Ownership interest in a Security (or transfer Securities from their account to the account(s) of others), but only after obtaining pre-clearance approval from the Personal Investment Committee.

  • Short-Term Trading Profits All Access Persons are prohibited from profiting in their own accounts and the accounts of their Immediate Families, from the purchase and sale, or the sale and purchase, of the same or equivalent Securities, within 60 calendar days.

  • Independent Fund Trustees (and their Immediate Families) are not required to file an Initial Holdings Report or an Annual Holdings report hereunder.


More Definitions of Immediate Families

Immediate Families. – shall mean the spouse or partner and all children who are dependent on the employee.
Immediate Families means the spouse, partner, children and/or any person residing in the same household with the Eligible Employees.
Immediate Families means any of the following (whether natural, step or adopted): spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew or sibling.
Immediate Families means current and former spouses, parents, stepparents, foster parents, father-in-law, mother-in-law, children, stepchildren, foster children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and first cousins. First cousin means the child of a parent’s sibling, i.e., the child of an aunt or uncle.
Immediate Families means a person’s spouse, child residing in the person’s household (including step and adoptive children); and any dependent of the person, as defined in section 152 of the Internal Revenue Code (26 U.S.C. §152). Also excluded from the Class is any person or entity who previously excluded himself, herself or itself by timely serving a valid and proper request for exclusion in accordance with the Pendency Notice.

Related to Immediate Families

  • Immediate Family Members means with respect to any individual, such individual’s child, stepchild, grandchild or more remote descendant, parent, stepparent, grandparent, spouse, former spouse, qualified domestic partner, sibling, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law and daughter-in-law (including adoptive relationships) and any trust, partnership or other bona fide estate-planning vehicle the only beneficiaries of which are any of the foregoing individuals or any private foundation or fund that is controlled by any of the foregoing individuals or any donor-advised fund of which any such individual is the donor.

  • Immediate family means a spouse and any unemancipated child.

  • Immediate Family Member means a child, stepchild, grandchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, spouse, sibling, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, or sister-in-law, including adoptive relationships, of a natural person referred to herein.

  • Family Members means, as to a Person that is an individual, such Person’s spouse, ancestors, descendants (whether by blood or by adoption or step-descendants by marriage), brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and inter vivos or testamentary trusts (whether revocable or irrevocable) of which only such Person and his or her spouse, ancestors, descendants (whether by blood or by adoption or step-descendants by marriage), brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews are beneficiaries.

  • Member of the Immediate Family means, with respect to any Person who is an individual, (a) each parent, spouse (but not including a former spouse or a spouse from whom such Person is legally separated) or child (including those adopted) of such individual and (b) each trustee, solely in his or her capacity as trustee, for a trust naming only one or more of the Persons listed in sub-clause (a) as beneficiaries.

  • Members of the Immediate Family means with respect to any individual, each parent (whether by birth or adoption), spouse, or child or other descendants (whether by birth or adoption) of such individual, each spouse of any of the aforementioned Persons, each trust created solely for the benefit of such individual and/or one or more of the aforementioned Persons, and each legal representative of such individual or of any aforementioned Persons (including without limitation a tutor, curator, mandatary due to incapacity, custodian, guardian or testamentary executor), acting in such capacity under the authority of the law, an order from a competent tribunal, a will or a mandate in case of incapacity or similar instrument. For the purposes of this definition, a Person shall be considered the spouse of an individual if such Person is legally married to such individual, lives in a civil union with such individual or is the common law partner (as defined in the Income Tax Act (Canada) as amended from time to time) of such individual. A Person who was the spouse of an individual within the meaning of this paragraph immediately before the death of such individual shall continue to be considered a spouse of such individual after the death of such individual;

  • Family Member means spouse, father, mother, child, father-in-law, mother-in-law, daughter-in-law or son-in-law.

  • Designated family member means any of the following:

  • Close Family Member means a parent, child or sibling who is not an immediate family member.

  • Children means all dependants named on a policy (not including spouse).

  • Member of the immediate family of the producer means a person who is related to a producer described in Subsection 59-12-104(20)(a) as a:

  • Dependent children also means natural children, stepchildren, adopted children, children of a domestic partner, children placed for adoption and foster children.

  • Siblings means brothers or sisters. They are defined as children with at least one natural or adoptive parent in common, living at the same or a different address. Children living permanently in the same household at the same address would also be counted as siblings, regardless of their actual relationship to each other. To qualify as a sibling a child must be on the roll of the school in question at the date of application, allocation and admission.

  • Relatives means a person, as defined in Section 2(77) of the Companies Act, 2013 and any amendments thereto.

  • Spouse means, an individual who,

  • Child/Children means persons who are of an age of two years and above but who are less than 12 years of age;

  • Sibling means each of two (2) or more children having a parent in common by blood, adoption, marriage, or foster care.

  • Eligible Family Member means a member of the Subscriber’s family that is or becomes eligible to enroll for coverage under this Plan as a Dependent.

  • Child or Children means a child or children unmarried

  • Descendant of an individual means all of the individual's descendants of all generations, with the relationship of parent and child at each generation being determined by the definition of child and parent contained in this section.

  • Birth family or "birth sibling" means the child's biological family or biological sibling.

  • Immediate Relatives means the spouse of a person and includes parent, sibling, and child of such person or of the spouse, any of whom is either dependent financially on such person, or consults such person in taking decisions relating to trading in Securities.

  • Extended family member means an adult who is a grandparent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, uncle, aunt, or first cousin with whom the child has a relationship and is comfortable, and who is willing and available to care for the child.

  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children means: • Protecting children from maltreatment• Preventing impairment of children’s mental or physical health or development• Ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care• Taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes

  • Children of military families means: a school-aged child(ren), enrolled in Kindergarten through Twelfth (12th) grade, in the household of an active duty member.

  • Dependent child means a child residing in an individual’s household who may legally be claimed as a dependent on the federal income tax of such individual.
