Imbalance Charges definition

Imbalance Charges means any fees, penalties, costs or charges (in cash or in kind) assessed by a Transporter for failure to satisfy the Transporter's balance and/or nomination requirements.
Imbalance Charges means any fees, penalties, costs or charges (in cash or in kind) assessed by a Carrier for failure to satisfy the Carrier’s balancing, nominating and/or scheduling requirements, excluding Railroad Charges.
Imbalance Charges means all penalties, fees, assessments and other costs, debits and charges (whether in effect as of the Effective Date or at any time in the future) assessed or imposed for Energy Imbalances, including revenue sufficiency guarantee and similar charges, costs of purchasing imbalance or real-time Energy to settle under-generated Contract Energy or under produced Storage Energy; settlement at negative prices of over-generated Contract Energy or over- produced Storage Energy; other settlement charges; and other costs, debits and charges in all cases as assessed pursuant to the MISO Rules or such other applicable tariff or rate schedule or an applicable Balancing Authority’s or other applicable Transmission Provider’s balance, scheduling or other requirements.

  • Other Charges: Imbalance Charges (as herein defined), and any pipeline scheduling, balancing, transportation, or other similar charges incurred by KUB in connection with the transportation of gas on behalf of the Customer, as applicable.

More Definitions of Imbalance Charges

Imbalance Charges means costs and charges incurred by or for the account of the Generator pursuant to the Balancing Mechanism by reason of its contracted volumes not matching its metered volumes in relation to output from the Facility, and at the Agreement Date includes the Daily Party Energy Imbalance Cashflow;
Imbalance Charges means any fees, penalties, costs or charges (in cash or in kind) assessed by DC or ISO for failure to satisfy balancing or nominations requirements at any Delivery Point.
Imbalance Charges means any penalties, fees or charges assessed by (i) a transmission provider or a Control Area operator for failure to satisfy requirements for balancing of electric energy receipts and deliveries or loads and generation, including, without limitation, any amounts payable by Seller pursuant to the Generator Imbalance Agreement relating to its facility or (ii) a transporter for failure to satisfy the transporter’s balance and/or nomination requirements.

Imbalance Charges means any penalties, fees or charges assessed by a Transmission Operator or Transmission Provider for failure to satisfy requirements for balancing of Energy receipts and deliveries or loads and generation, or payable to any other Person in connection with the delivery of Energy in an amount(s) different from the amount(s) scheduled.
