ICSD means an International Central Securities Depositary;
ICSD means any or each of Euroclear and Clearstream, Luxembourg;

The Issuer hereby authorises and instructs the Fiscal Agent to elect an ICSD to be Common Safekeeper for each issue of an NGN Temporary Global Note or an NGN Permanent Global Note, or a Global Registered Note to be held under the NSS in relation to which one of the ICSDs must be Common Safekeeper.
Any reference in this Agreement to the records of an ICSD shall be to the records that each of the ICSDs holds for its customers which reflect the amount of such customers' interests in the Notes (but excluding any interest in any Notes of one ICSD shown in the records of another ICSD).
