Household Contents definition

Household Contents means all household goods, appliances, furniture and fixtures and fittings to the Building (apart from fixtures and fittings to the Building which were part of the Building’s original construction).
Household Contents means household, furniture and furnishing clothing and personal effects belonging to You or to members of Your family or domestic servants permanently residing with You and fixtures and fittings which You own (or for which You are responsible) not being landlord’s fixtures and fittings excluding: Deeds, bonds, bills of exchange, promissory notes, cheques, travellers’ cheques, securities for money, documents of any kind, cash, currency notes.
Household Contents means all of the Insured Person's furniture, furnishings, home appliances, household and personal effects including household appliances hired to the Insured Person or the Insured Person's family members.

Examples of Household Contents in a sentence

  • Household Contents means Your interior decorations, fixtures and fittings installed by You (not provided by HDB), furniture and furnishings, clothing and personal effects belonging to You or Your Immediate Family or Domestic Worker permanently residing with You but excludes deeds, bonds, bills of exchange, promissory notes, cheques, travellers’ cheques, securities for money, documents of any kind, cash and currency notes.

  • The Company will pay the Insured for accidental physical loss of or damage to the Household Contents during the course of such Household Contents being moved by professional removers from the Location of Risk to a new risk location within Hong Kong.

  • The cost of replacement or repair of an Insured Person’s Household Contents and personal effects (excluding Money) is payable if the Insured Person suffers loss of or damage to the same as a result of burglary occurred at the Insured Person’s principal home in Hong Kong (the “Home”) while it is unoccupied during the Journey.

  • The Company will pay the Insured for accidental physical loss of or damage to the Household Contents during the course of such Household Contents being temporarily removed from the Location of Risk to any other premises within Hong Kong for cleaning, repair or maintenance for up to fourteen (14) days.

  • In respect of each and every claim for physical loss of or damage to the Household Contents, Personal Effects and Valuables contained within the Location of Risk caused by rainwater seepage due to tropical cyclone warning signal no.3 or above or rainstorm signal “Amber” or above (see Section 1P), the excess shall be 10% of the adjusted loss subject to a minimum of HK$3,000 or otherwise specified in the Schedule.


More Definitions of Household Contents

Household Contents means household furniture and furnishing, clothing and personal effects belonging to the Insured Person and fixtures and fittings which the Insured Person owns. It shall not mean the landlord’s fixtures and fittings, or deeds, bonds, bills of exchange, promissory notes, cheques, travellers’ cheques, securities for money, documents of any kind, cash, currency notes and Valuables.
Household Contents means all household furniture and furnishings and personal belongings owned byYou or Your Immediate Family member(s) or domestic servants permanently residing with You.Excluding: Deeds, bonds, bills of exchange, promissory notes, cheques, travellers’ cheques, securities for money, documents of any kind, cash, currency notes.
Household Contents means all of the Insured Person’s furniture, furnishings, home appliances, household and personal effects including household appliances hired to the Insured Person or the Insured Person’s family members.
Household Contents means all household furniture and furnishings and personal belongings owned by Youor Your Immediate Family member(s) or domestic servants permanently residing with You.Excluding: Deeds, bonds, bills of exchange, promissory notes, cheques, travellers’ cheques, securities formoney, documents of any kind, cash, currency notes.
Household Contents means all description of household goods and Personal Belongings situated in the Home which belong to You and Your Family Member(s) for which You are legally liable. However, “Household Contents” do not include:
