Hours’ notice definition

Hours’ notice means business office hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. "Short term" absence in this Article shall mean three (3) days or less. "Long term" absence in this Article shall mean four (4) days but less than thirty (30). Every employee shall be required to obtain a doctor's certificate upon return to work for an illness which is of three (3) days or more duration. The Employer may require a doctor's certificate on the first day of illness if the employee involved is believed to have abused a leave of absence due to illness. "Extended" absence in this Article shall mean thirty (30) days or more. Employees who are on an extended sick leave or workplace injury leave shall keep the Employer informed of their progress and make the probable date of return. The employee shall make a reasonable effort to make contact at least once a month.
Hours’ notice means business hours (1 business day or 2 business days; Monday through Friday). “Short term” absence in this Article shall mean three (3) days or less.

Examples of Hours’ notice in a sentence

  • Notice by email will be treated as received during Delivery Hours on the Day it is sent and if it is received outside of Delivery Hours, notice will be treated as received at the next start of Delivery Hours.

  • If delivered by hand outside Delivery Hours, notice will be treated as received at the next start of Delivery Hours; or sent by first class pre-paid post or guaranteed next day delivery post both with delivery confirmation or receipt (for example special delivery) to the address.

  • A notice shall be effective upon receipt and shall be deemed to have been received (i) at the time of delivery, if delivered by hand, registered post or courier or (ii) at the time of transmission if delivered by fax provided that in either case, where delivery occurs outside Working Hours, notice shall be deemed to have been received at the start of Working Hours on the next following Business Day.

  • A notice shall be effective upon receipt and shall be deemed to have been received (i) at the time of delivery, if delivered by hand, registered post or courier or (ii) at the time of transmission if delivered by email provided that in either case, where delivery occurs outside Working Hours, notice shall be deemed to have been received at the start of Working Hours on the next following Business Day.

  • At all times during the life of the project the Contractor shall provide one permanent employee who shall have the authority and capability for overall responsibility of the project and who shall be personally available at the work site within 24 Hours notice.

  • A notice shall be effective upon receipt and shall be deemed to have been received: (i) at the time of delivery, if delivered by hand, registered post or courier; or (ii) at the time of transmission if delivered by electronic mail or fax provided that in either case, where delivery occurs outside Working Hours, notice shall be deemed to have been received at the start of Working Hours on the next following Business Day.

  • The Client shall ensure that all replacement requests are made in accordance with the Lesson rescheduling notice requirements in clause 7.1 to avoid any forfeiture of Lessons (i.e. a minimum of 6 Business Hours' notice).

  • A Minimum of 12 Hours notice must be given for Cancellation of a Surveillance assignment, otherwise client will forfeit the scheduled hours & fee already charged.

  • Provider's cancellation policy: 24 Hours notice is required to cancel a service.

Related to Hours’ notice

  • Offeror’s Notice means the notice described in Section 12.3.

  • Sales Notice shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 2(b)(i).

  • FOIA notice means a decision notice, enforcement notice and/or an information notice;

  • CAFA Notice refers to the notice requirements imposed by 28 U.S.C. § 1715(b).

  • OJEU Notice means the contract notice published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

  • Seller’s Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 8.5(a).

  • Timely Notice means a stockholder’s notice to the Secretary of the Corporation which must be delivered to or mailed and received at the principal executive offices of the Corporation not less than ninety (90) days nor more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the first anniversary of the preceding year’s annual meeting of stockholders; provided, however, that in the event that the date of the annual meeting is more than thirty (30) days before, or more than sixty (60) days after, such anniversary date, notice by the stockholder to be timely must be so delivered not earlier than the one hundred twentieth (120th) day prior to such annual meeting and not later than the ninetieth (90th) day prior to such annual meeting or, if later, the tenth (10th) day following the day on which the date that such annual meeting was Publicly Disclosed (as defined above).

  • Election Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 11.01(b).

  • Response Period has the meaning set forth in Section 9.6(a).

  • CFIUS Notice means a joint voluntary notice with respect to the Contemplated Transactions prepared by Parent and the Company and submitted to CFIUS in accordance with the requirements of the DPA.

  • Defects Notification Period means the period for notifying defects in the Works or a Section (as the case may be) under Sub-Clause 11.1 [Completion of Outstanding Work and Remedying Defects], which extends over 365 days except if otherwise stated in the SCC (with any extension under Sub-Clause 11.3 [Extension of Defects Notification Period]), calculated from the date on which the Works or Section is completed as certified under Sub-Clause 10.1[Taking Over of the Works and Sections].

  • Class Notice means the COURT APPROVED NOTICE OF CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT AND HEARING DATE FOR FINAL COURT APPROVAL, to be mailed to Class Members in English in the form, without material variation, attached as Exhibit A and incorporated by reference into this Agreement.

  • Nomination Notice means all information and documents that a Nominating Stockholder is required to submit to the Secretary of the Corporation pursuant to Section 1.13(f).

  • Pre-Notice shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 4.13.

  • Allocation Notice shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 11.14(i) hereof.

  • Rectification Notice means a notice in writing that identifies a defect in a work and requires rectification of the defect within a specified period of time.

  • Required Notice Period means the number of days required notice set forth below applicable to the Aggregate Reduction indicated below: Aggregate Reduction Required Notice Period £$100,000,000 two Business Days >$100,000,000 to $250,000,000 five Business Days ³$250,000,000 ten Business Days

  • a term's notice means written notice given not later than the first day of the term preceding the term to which the notice relates;

  • Notification Period has the meaning given to such term in Clause 3.10(b) or 3.10(c) of the Gold Bullion Terms, as the case may be.

  • Availability Notice has the meaning given to it in the Grid Code;

  • Reduction Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 1.3.

  • Penalty Notice means a written no- tification from the Director informing a respondent that the Director has made a finding of violation and, absent a request for a hearing, will impose a civil monetary penalty.

  • Election Period means the period immediately preceding the beginning of each Plan Year established by the Administrator, such period to be applied on a uniform and nondiscriminatory basis for all Employees and Participants. However, an Employee's initial Election Period shall be determined pursuant to Section 5.1.

  • Time Period means the Term and the twenty-four-month period next following the expiration of the Term.

  • Claims Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 9.3(a).

  • Acceptance Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 9.2(d)(iii).
