Examples of Hospitalization in a sentence
Hospitalization means admission in a Hospital for a minimum period of 24 consecutive ‘In-patient Care’ hours except for specified procedures/ treatments, where such admission could be for a period of less than 24 consecutive hours.
If you are an Inpatient in a Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility or other eligible facility or a patient in a Partial Hospitalization Treatment Program or Coordinated Home Care Program at the time that your coverage under this Certificate is terminated, the benefits of this benefit section will be provided until you are discharged from the Hospital or other Provider or until your Hospital days are exhausted, whichever occurs first.

We will pay a fixed benefit amount, in the event of a Hospitalization solely and directly due to the Illness or Injury, as specified in the Policy Schedule / Certificate of Insurance.
We will indemnify the Medical Expenses incurred towards the Day Care Treatment or Surgery undertaken that requires less than 24 hours Hospitalization due to advancement in technology and which is undertaken by an Insured Person in a Hospital / Nursing Home / Day Care Centre for the Illness or Injury, as specified in the Policy Schedule / Certificate of Insurance.
