Hospital facility definition

Hospital facility means a facility that is required by a state to be li- censed, registered, or similarly recog- nized as a hospital. Multiple buildings operated under a single state license are considered to be a single hospital facility. For purposes of this paragraph (b)(17), the term ‘‘state’’ includes only the 50 states and the District of Colum- bia and not any U.S. territory or for- eign country. References to a hospital facility taking actions include in- stances in which the hospital organiza- tion operating the hospital facility takes actions through or on behalf of the hospital facility.

Hospital facility means any heart hospital and related facilities or diagnostic facilities owned by a Hospital Joint Venture.

Hospital facility means a general acute care or psychiatric hospital.

Except as otherwise provided in published guidance, a hospital organization may treat multiple buildings operated under a single state license as a single hospital facility. For purposes of this paragraph (b)(15), the term ‘‘state’’ includes only the 50 states and the District of Columbia and not any U.S. territory or foreign country. References to a hospital facility taking actions include instances in which the hospital organization operating the hospital facility takes action through or on behalf of the hospital facility.

Hospital facility means any structure, system, machinery, equipment or other real or personal property useful for or incidental to inpatient or outpatient care or administration, service or support for such care or any combination thereof which is provided by a political subdivision of this state or any private nonprofit corporation, which is operating or proposes to operate an adult congregate living facility, or a health care facility as defined by ORS 442.015.
