Home worker means an unorganised non-agricultural sector worker involved in the production of goods or services as specified by an employer, in his / her own home or other premises of his / her choice (other than the work place of the employer) for remuneration, irrespective of whether or not the employer provides the equipment, materials or other inputs. (Note: This definition is similar to the definition of home workers as per ILO Convention No. 177.
