Money appropriated in this section may not be spent on activities unless they are directly related to and necessary for a specific appropriation and are specified in the accomplishment plan approved by the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council.
Should any relics be unexpectedly discovered on the site during excavation, all excavation or disturbance to the area is to stop immediately and the Heritage Council of NSW should be informed in accordance with section 146 of the Heritage Act 1977.
Upon confirmation that the human remains are not of forensic interest, the unanticipated discovery must be reported to Nicolas Laracuente at the Kentucky Heritage Council at (502) 892-3614 and George Crothers at the Office of State Archaeology at (859) 257-1944.
No less than five percent of the amount of each grant must be held back from reimbursement until the grant recipient has completed a grant accomplishment report by the deadline and in the form prescribed by and satisfactory to the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council.
The Heritage Council must notify the Executive Director of any determination under this section as soon as practicable after the determination.
