Heating Contractor definition

Heating Contractor means a Person who carries on the business of installing, repairing and maintaining warm air, hot water or steam heating equipment of any kind;
Heating Contractor means a person engaged in the business of doing any work on heating equipment subject to the provisions of this ordinance.
Heating Contractor means any person holding itself out to the public as engaged in or having direct supervision of heating work within the limits of the City of Windsor.

Examples of Heating Contractor in a sentence

  • A Person licenced as a Heating Contractor under this By-law and Schedule shall not perform or permit to be performed any heating work which is not under the direct Personal supervision of a Master Heater or a provincially certified journeyman heater continuously employed on the same contract or job who is under the direct supervision of a Master Heater.

  • After the systems are thoroughly cleaned, they shall be put into operation by the Heating Contractor.

  • No Person shall be licensed as a Heating Contractor under this By-law and Schedule unless:(1) That Person is licensed as a Master Heating Installer or employs at least one licensed Master Heating Installer on a regular, full-time basis; and(2) Proof of General Liability Insurance is provided showing a minimum of$2,000,000.00 coverage, which coverage is endorsed to indemnify and save harmless the City.

  • A Person licensed as a Heating Contractor or Master Heating Installer under this By- law and Schedule shall not:(1) Permit the use of the licensee's name by any other Person, either directly or indirectly, for the purpose of obtaining a permit to do any work as a Master Heating Installer or Heating Contractor; and(2) Perform any work which requires a licence or permit unless a licence or permit is first obtained.

  • No Person shall be licensed as a Heating Contractor under this By-law and Schedule unless: (1) That Person is licensed as a Master Heating Installer or employs at least one licensed Master Heating Installer on a regular, full-time basis; and (2) Proof of General Liability Insurance is provided showing a minimum of $1,000,000.00 coverage, which coverage is endorsed to indemnify and save harmless the City.

  • Check with Heating Contractor as to location of radiation, Ventilation Contractor as to location of ducts and grilles, and Plumbing Contractor as to location of piping before installing the work.

  • The Electrical Contractor is to power wire to (and through where required) these devices and is to final connect power wiring to electrically operated equipment being installed by the Heating Contractor.

  • The Heating Contractor is to wall mount disconnect switches, starters, start-stop switches, etc., in the close vicinity of the equipment being controlled.

  • The members of the commissioning team consist of Owner, Owner O&M personnel, General Contractor (GC), Heating Contractor (HC), Ventilation Contractor (VC), Electrical Contractor(s) (EC), Lighting Controls Contractor (LC), Testing Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) subcontractor, Controls Contractor (CS), Fire Alarm Contractor (FC), and Commissioning Authority (CxA).

  • Coordinate locations with Heating Contractor to avoid baseboard radiation cabinets.

  • Plumbing contractor means a licensed master plumber or a person who employs a licensed master plumber full-time to directly supervise the installation of plumbing as his or her representative engaged in the business of plumbing for a fixed sum, price, fee percentage, valuable consideration, or other compensation and who is licensed as a plumbing contractor.

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • HVAC means heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
