Hearing record definition

Hearing record or "record" means all of the documents and materials that are a part of the disciplinary action proceeding, including, but not limited to: the Notice of Discipline; the worker's response to the Notice, if any; all of the evidence introduced at the hearing; the tape recording of the hearing; and the transcript of the hearing, if any.
Hearing record means the materials that the committee or commission accepts at a hearing. While the committee or commission may rely in part on any portion of the hearing record in making a finding, only those items properly incorporated into the hearing record pursuant to Section 1212 or 1213 are sufficient in and of themselves to support a finding of fact.
