Health and Safety Standards definition

Health and Safety Standards means all Applicable Laws, standards of practice and codes of ethics issued by any professional regulatory body, and all rules, policies and regulations in place at the Health Authority or its Facilities that apply to the Students or the Institution Staff at the Facilities, any of which relate to workplace safety, the delivery of Health Care Services or the health and safety of Patients or HA Staff.

Health and Safety Standards means the minimum requirements for housing that are related to public health as defined in the Ontario Public Health Standards and safety and structural efficiency as defined in the Ontario Building Code.

Health and Safety Standards means rules or requirements developed by the department to protect the health and safety of children against ((substantial)) risk of bodily, mental, or psychological injury, harm, illness, or death.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF COUNTY CONSERVATORSHIP REFERRALS: Only COUNTY’s Medical Director or physician designee may recommend patients for conservatorship to COUNTY’s Public Guardian. Such recommendations shall be made using the referral packet forms supplied by the Public Guardian’s office not less than five (5) business days prior to the expiration of the patient’s involuntary hold, if any. CONTRACTOR will be reimbursed based on the following daily rate schedule: For days 1-7, the daily reimbursement rate is $1,030/Day. For days exceeding 7 days (8 days +), the daily reimbursement rate is $922/Day. The above rates may only change within 10% of rate listed in this agreement with approval of the County Contract Administrator and the Revenue and Budget Program Manager.
