Hazardous Substances means any chemical, pollutant, waste or substance that is (a) listed, classified or regulated under any Environmental Law as hazardous substance, toxic substance, pollutant, contaminant or oil or (b) any petroleum product or by-product, asbestos containing material, polychlorinated biphenyls or radioactive material.
Hazardous Substances means pollutants, contaminants, hazardous substances, hazardous wastes, petroleum and fractions thereof, and all other chemicals, wastes, substances and materials listed in, regulated by or identified in any Environmental Law.
Hazardous Substances means any substances defined or designated as hazardous or toxic waste, hazardous or toxic material, hazardous or toxic substance or similar term, by any environmental statute, rule or regulation of any governmental entity presently in effect and applicable to such real property.
Examples of Hazardous Substances in a sentence
Tenant shall not manufacture, process, distribute, use, treat, store, dispose of, or handle on the Premises, or transport to or from the Premises, any Hazardous Substances, except in compliance with Environmental Laws.
Tenant shall not cause, permit, or allow any Hazardous Substances to be brought upon, kept, used, or released in or about the Premises except in compliance with Environmental Laws.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this paragraph, each such Issuer and its related Tenants or Borrowers may use and store Hazardous Substances at each Property if such use or storage is in connection with the ordinary operation, cleaning and maintenance of each Property so long as such use and storage is in compliance with any applicable Environmental Laws.
More Definitions of Hazardous Substances
Hazardous Substances means any toxic, radioactive, caustic or otherwise hazardous substance, including petroleum, its derivatives, by-products and other hydrocarbons, or any substance having any constituent elements displaying any of the foregoing characteristics.
Hazardous Substances means any toxic or hazardous substances, material or waste, including Medical Waste, or any pollutant or contaminant, or infectious or radioactive substance or material, including without limitation, those substances, materials and wastes defined in or regulated under any Environmental Laws.
Hazardous Substances means any substance, waste, chemical, pollutant or contaminant, material or compound in any form, including petroleum, crude oil or any fraction thereof, asbestos or asbestos containing materials, or polychlorinated biphenyls, that is regulated pursuant to any Environmental Law.
Hazardous Substances means (A) petroleum and petroleum products, by-products or breakdown products, radioactive materials, asbestos-containing materials, polychlorinated biphenyls and mold, and (B) any other chemical, material or substance defined or regulated as toxic or hazardous or as a pollutant, contaminant or waste under Environmental Laws.

Hazardous Substances means any substance, material or waste that is or becomes designated or regulated as "toxic," "hazardous," "pollutant," or "contaminant" or a similar designation or regulation under any federal, state or local law (whether under common law, statute, regulation or otherwise) or judicial or administrative interpretation of such, including petroleum or natural gas. This indemnity will survive repayment of all other Obligations.
