Hazardous Substances definition
Hazardous Substances means any substances defined or designated as hazardous or toxic waste, hazardous or toxic material, hazardous or toxic substance or similar term, by any environmental statute, rule or regulation of any governmental entity presently in effect and applicable to such real property.
Hazardous Substances means any substance, waste, contaminant, pollutant or material defined or regulated as toxic or as a pollutant, contaminant or waste, or words of similar meaning including petroleum or petroleum products, under any Environmental Law.
Hazardous Substances means pollutants, contaminants, hazardous substances, hazardous wastes, petroleum and fractions thereof, and all other chemicals, wastes, substances and materials listed in, regulated by or identified in any Environmental Law.

Notwithstanding any provision in this Agreement to the contrary, neither Buyer nor Buyer’s agents shall contact any governmental authority regarding ▇▇▇▇▇’s discovery of any Hazardous Substances (as hereinafter defined) on, or any environmental conditions at, the Property without Seller’s prior written consent thereto.

More Definitions of Hazardous Substances
Hazardous Substances means any toxic, radioactive, caustic or otherwise hazardous substance, including petroleum, its derivatives, by-products and other hydrocarbons, or any substance having any constituent elements displaying any of the foregoing characteristics.
Hazardous Substances means (A) petroleum and petroleum products, by-products or breakdown products, radioactive materials, asbestos-containing materials, polychlorinated biphenyls and mold, and (B) any other chemical, material or substance defined or regulated as toxic or hazardous or as a pollutant, contaminant or waste under Environmental Laws.
Hazardous Substances means any toxic or hazardous substances, material or waste, including Medical Waste, or any pollutant or contaminant, or infectious or radioactive substance or material, including without limitation, those substances, materials and wastes defined in or regulated under any Environmental Laws.

Hazardous Substances means any toxic, radioactive, mutagenic, carcinogenic, noxious, caustic or otherwise hazardous substance, material or waste, including petroleum, its derivatives, by-products and other hydrocarbons, including, without limitation, polychlorinated biphenyls (“PCBs”), asbestos or asbestos-containing material, and any substance, waste or material regulated or that could reasonably be expected to result in liability under Environmental and Safety Laws.
Hazardous Substances mean materials that, because of their quantity, concentration or physical, chemical or infectious characteristics, may cause or pose a present or potential hazard to human health or the environment when improperly used, treated, stored, disposed of, generated, manufactured, transported or otherwise handled. The words "Hazardous Substances" are used in their very broadest sense and include without limitation any and all hazardous or toxic substances, materials or waste as defined by or listed under the Environmental Laws. The term "Hazardous Substances" also includes, without limitation, petroleum and petroleum by-products or any fraction thereof and asbestos.
Hazardous Substances means any substance, material or waste that is or becomes designated or regulated as "toxic," "hazardous," "pollutant," or "contaminant" or a similar designation or regulation under any federal, state or local law (whether under common law, statute, regulation or otherwise) or judicial or administrative interpretation of such, including petroleum or natural gas. This indemnity will survive repayment of all other Obligations.
