GUC Administrator definition

GUC Administrator means the Entity designated by the Debtors and the Requisite Creditors, in consultation with the Creditors’ Committee, and identified at or prior to the Confirmation Hearing, to, among other things, (a) object to General Unsecured Claims, (b) administer the General Unsecured Claims allowance process, and (c) authorize distributions to Holders of General Unsecured Claims from the General Unsecured Claims Distribution, in each case, as set forth in the Plan and the GUC Administrator Agreement.
GUC Administrator means the Entity designated by the Creditors’ Committee, in consultation with the Debtors and the Requisite Creditors, and identified at or prior to the Confirmation Hearing, to, among other things, (a) object to General Unsecured Claims, (b) administer the General Unsecured Claims allowance process, and (c) authorize distributions to Holders of General Unsecured Claims from the General Unsecured Claims Distribution, in each case, as set forth in the Plan and the GUC Administrator Agreement.
GUC Administrator means the person appointed to act as trustee of the GUC Trust pursuant to the terms of the GUC Trust Agreement and the Plan.

Examples of GUC Administrator in a sentence

  • On or after the Effective Date, the Reorganized Debtors and the GUC Administrator (solely with respect to General Unsecured Claims) shall have any and all rights and defenses the Debtors had with respect to any Claim immediately prior to the Effective Date.

  • The GUC Administrator shall distribute such amounts (net of any expenses, including any taxes relating thereto), as provided herein, as such Disputed Claims are resolved by a Final Order or agreed to by settlement, and such amounts will be distributable on account of such Disputed Claims as such amounts would have been distributable had such Disputed Claims been Allowed Claims as of the Effective Date.

  • On or prior to the Effective Date, the Debtors or the Reorganized Debtors, as applicable, or the GUC Administrator (solely with respect to General Unsecured Claims), shall be authorized, in consultation with the Requisite Creditors and the Creditors’ Committee, to establish one or more Disputed Claims Reserves, which Disputed Claims Reserve(s) shall be administered by the Reorganized Debtors or the GUC Administrator, as applicable.

  • The GUC Administrator shall make distributions to Holders of Allowed General Unsecured Claims to be funded from Cash from the General Unsecured Claims Distribution in accordance with the GUC Administrator Agreement.

  • The Reorganized Debtors shall cooperate in a commercially reasonable manner and in good faith with the GUC Administrator to assure that the GUC Administrator has reasonable access to the Reorganized Debtors’ books and records in possession of the Reorganized Debtors in connection with its duty to object to and resolve General Unsecured Claims.

GUC Administrator means the Person selected by the Committee and acceptable to the Debtors, who is responsible for overseeing the reconciliation, objection, settlement, or other disposition of General Unsecured Claims asserted in these Chapter 11 Cases.
