Group grievances definition

Group grievances are defined as those grievances which cover more than one employee and which pertain to like circumstances and facts for the grievants involved. Group grievances shall, insofar as practical, name all employees and/or classifications and all work locations covered and may, by mutual waiver of a lower Level, be filed at an agreed upon advanced Level where the action giving rise to the grievance was initiated or where the relief requested by the grievance could be granted. Group grievances shall be so designated at the first appropriate Level of the grievance procedure, although names may be added or deleted prior to a Level Three hearing.
Group grievances shall be grievances substantially similar in nature that affect more than one employee in the bargaining unit. The grievances may be processed together if the parties mutually agree to do so.
Group grievances. Any member of the bargaining unit or the Union may file a grievance. Where a group of bargaining unit members desires to file a grievance involving a situation affecting more than one member of the bargaining unit in a similar manner, one member selected by such a group shall process the grievance. Such grievance shall be defined as a group or class action grievance. A group grievance shall specify the affected employees or group of employees on the grievance form.

  • Disputes shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.

  • Undisclosed Administration means, in relation to a Lender or its direct or indirect parent company, the appointment of an administrator, provisional liquidator, conservator, receiver, trustee, custodian or other similar official by a supervisory authority or regulator under or based on the law in the country where such Lender or its direct or indirect parent company is subject to home jurisdiction supervision if applicable law requires that such appointment is not to be publicly disclosed and such appointment has not been publicly disclosed.

  • Contractor Related Parties means any affliates of the Contractor and the Contractor's executive officers, Pennsylvania officers and directors, or owners of 5 percent or more interest in the Contractor.

  • Grievant means an employee or group of employees having the same grievance. In the case of a group of employees, one employee shall be designated by the group to act as spokesperson and to be responsible for processing the grievance.

  • Plagiarism means to take and present as one's own a material portion of the ideas or words of another or to present as one's own an idea or work derived from an existing source without full and proper credit to the source of the ideas, words, or works. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Group health plan means an employee welfare benefit plan as defined in section 3(1) of subtitle A of title I of the employee retirement income security act of 1974, Public Law 93-406, 29 USC 1002, to the extent that the plan provides medical care, including items and services paid for as medical care to employees or their dependents as defined under the terms of the plan directly or through insurance, reimbursement, or otherwise.

  • Labour means worker employed by the Bank/SBIIMS's contractor directly or indirectly through a sub-contractor or other persons or by an agent on his behalf of a payment not exceeding Rs.

  • Disciplinary Code means the disciplinary code of the LTA in force from time to time;

  • Mobile crisis outreach team means a crisis intervention service for minors or families of minors experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.

  • Multidisciplinary team means a membership of individuals who possess knowledge and skills related to the diagnosis, assessment, and disposition of dependent adult abuse cases and who are professionals practicing in the disciplines of medicine, public health, social work, law, law enforcement and other disciplines relative to dependent adults. Members of the team shall include, but are not limited to, persons representing the area agencies on aging, county attorneys, health care providers, and others involved in advocating or providing services for dependent adults.
