Grid Code definition

Grid Code. / “IEGC” or “State Grid Code” shall mean the Grid Code specified by the Central Commission under clause (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 79 of the Electricity Act and/or the State Grid Code as specified by the concerned State Commission referred under clause (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 86 of the Electricity Act, as applicable;
Grid Code. “IEGC” or “State Grid Code” shall mean the Grid Code specified by the CERC under Clause (h) of Sub-section (1) of Section 79 of the Electricity Act, as amended from time to time, and/or the State Grid Code as specified by the concerned State Commission, referred under Clause (h) of Sub- section (1) of Section 86 of the Electricity Xxx 0000, as applicable;
Grid Code means the Grid Code specified by the Commission under clause (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 86 of the Act.

Examples of Grid Code in a sentence

  • For the avoidance of doubt, a Synchronous Condenser, or any analogous term, is currently not specifically defined under the Grid Code as at the date of this application form publication.

More Definitions of Grid Code

Grid Code means the Grid Code required to be prepared by theBoard pursuant to Section 33 of the Act, and approved by the Commission, as from time to time revised, amended, supplemented or replaced with the approval or at the instance of the Commission;
Grid Code means the Grid Code specified by the CERC under Clause (h) of Sub- section (1) of Section 79 of the Electricity Act, as amended from time to time.
Grid Code means the technical code for connection and development of the National Electricity Transmission System (available at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/xx/xxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxx/xxxx- code?code-documents);
Grid Code means the Grid Code specified by the Central Commission under clause (h) of sub-section (1) of section 79;
Grid Code means the grid code that is required to be prepared by the GB System Operator and approved by the Authority pursuant to Standard Condition C14 (Grid Code) of the Transmission Licence;
Grid Code means the Grid Code prepared by the Board pursuant to Section 33 (Preparation of Grid Code and Distribution Code) of the Act and approved by the Commission, as from time to time revised, amended, supplemented or replaced by the Licensee with the approval or at the instance of the Commission;
Grid Code means the code which each Licensed Transmission System Operator shall be required to prepare and maintain pursuant to the terms of its Transmission Licence, which code shall be subject to the approval of the Authority, shall prescribe standard technical rules to be adhered to for the Connection to, use and operation of the Licensed Transmission System Operator's System and for Dispatch, and rules for the maintenance and development of that Transmission System and certain associated matters in relation to the Total System;
