Examples of Graduate Assistantship in a sentence
Upon ratification of this Collective Agreement by the Union membership, an employee who had a Teaching Assistantship or Graduate Assistantship in the 2003-2004 academic year, and who receives a Teaching Assistantship or Graduate Assistantship in either the Fall 2004 or Winter 2005 semester, shall be entitled to a one-time lump sum payment in the amount of $250.00.

An Assistant who was employed as a Graduate Assistant or a Teaching Assistant during the Fall 2002 and/or Winter 2003 semester shall be credited with one (1) seniority credit per term for previous terms worked upon application for a Graduate Assistantship or Teaching Assistantship in the 2004/2005 academic year, and such seniority credits shall come into force and effect on the date of ratification of this Agreement.
The University shall provide to the local union an amount totaling the equivalent value of one Graduate Assistantship (totaling 260 hours) per each twelve (12) month period, normally between September to August, which shall be used by the local union to compensate bargaining unit members who are also employees of the University, to undertake union/management activities related solely and exclusively to the implementation, application, interpretation and/or negotiation of the collective agreement.
