Government Plan definition

Government Plan shall have the respective meanings assigned to such terms in Section 3 of ERISA.
Government Plan means any employee benefit plan maintained by a Governmental Authority or any employee benefit plan, agreement, or arrangement that is otherwise required to be maintained or provided by applicable Law.
Government Plan means any pension, profit sharing or other retirement plan sponsored by the United States or any state, municipality or other political subdivision or any instrumentality of the foregoing.

Government Plan means any generally available plan, program, or arrangement under the administrative control, supervision or regulatorypower of any government or government-related entity which is in effect in the Canadian province or territory where the Employee or Dependent ordinarily reside, and which provides coverage, contribution or reimbursement for:▪ Basic medical or hospital services, facilities or therapies;▪ Medical aids, materials, supplies, implements, devices or equipment; or,▪ Prescription or non-prescription drugs, medicines or vaccines,and includes, without limitation, the Medical Services Plan of British Columbia and the Fair PharmaCare Program of British Columbia.
Government Plan means a health benefit plan issued, provided or sponsored by a Federal, State, County, Municipal or local public entity or program, including, but not limited to, Medicare, Medicaid, State Health Benefits Program, School Employees Health Benefit Plan or Federal Employee Health Benefits Program.
Government Plan means any pension, employment insurance, parental insurance, worker’s compensation, prescription drug or health insurance plan sponsored by the Government of Canada or the government of a province or territory of Canada.
