Government Contracts has the meaning set forth in Section 3.09(a)(viii).
Government Contract means any Contract between, on the one hand, the Company or any of the Subsidiaries and, on the other hand: (i) the United States government or any other Governmental Authority, (ii) any prime contractor to the United States government or any other Governmental Authority or (iii) any subcontractor with respect to any Contract described in clauses (i) or (ii).
Government Bid means any quotation, bid or proposal submitted to any Governmental Body or any proposed prime contractor or higher-tier subcontractor of any Governmental Body.
Government Subcontract means a Contract that is a subcontract between the Company, any of its Subsidiaries or any of their respective Affiliates on the one hand, and any third party on the other hand, relating to a Contract between such third party and (i) any Governmental Authority or (ii) another party where the ultimate contracting party is a Governmental Authority. Government Subcontract includes all bids and proposals submitted to any party that may result in the award of a Government Subcontract.
Government List means any of (i) the two lists maintained by the United States Department of Commerce (Denied Persons and Entities), (ii) the list maintained by the United States Department of Treasury (Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons), and (iii) the two lists maintained by the United States Department of State (Terrorist Organizations and Debarred Parties).
Government Lists means, collectively, (i) the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons Lists maintained by OFAC, (ii) any other list of terrorists, terrorist organizations or narcotics traffickers maintained pursuant to any of the Rules and Regulations of OFAC, and (iii) any similar lists maintained by the United States Department of State, the United States Department of Commerce or any other governmental authority or pursuant to any Executive Order.
Government Programs means (i) the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, (ii) the United States Department of Defense Civilian Health Program for Uniformed Services and (iii) other similar foreign or domestic Federal, state or local reimbursement or governmental health care programs.
Government Body means any domestic or foreign federal, state, municipal or other governmental department, commission, board, bureau, agency or instrumentality, or other body exercising or entitled to exercise any administrative, executive, judicial, legislative, police, regulatory or taxing authority or power of any nature.
Governmental contract means a contract awarded by a govern- mental entity for general construction, an improvement, a service, or a public works project or for a purchase of supplies, materials, or equipment. The term includes a contract to obtain professional ser- vices subject to Government Code 2254. Gov’t Code 2252.151(3)
Government data means any information, document, media, or machine readable material regardless of physical form or characteristics, that is created or obtained by the Government in the course of official Government business.
Government Receivable means any Receivable the Obligor of which is a Governmental Authority.
Government Entities means collectively, the United States of America or any other nation, any state or other political subdivision thereof, or any entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of government, including any court, in each case having jurisdiction over the Company.
Government agreement has the meaning given in the Government Agreements Xxx 0000 (WA);
Government of Canada Yield on any date means the yield to maturity on such date (assuming semi-annual compounding) of a Canadian dollar denominated non-callable Government of Canada bond with a term to maturity of five years as quoted as of 10:00 a.m. (Toronto time) on such date and that appears on the Bloomberg Screen GCAN5YR <Index> Page on such date; provided that if such rate does not appear on the Bloomberg Screen GCAN5YR <Index> Page on such date, then the Government of Canada Yield shall mean the arithmetic average of the yields quoted to the Corporation by two registered Canadian investment dealers selected by the Corporation as being the annual yield to maturity on such date, compounded semi-annually, that a non-callable Government of Canada bond would carry if issued, in Canadian dollars, at 100% of its principal amount on such date with a term to maturity of five years.
Governmental aggregator means one or more units of local
Government servant means any person appointed by Government to any civil service or post in connection with the affairs of the Union & includes a civilian in a Defence service;
Government Authorizations means all such approvals, consents, authorizations, acknowledgements, licenses or permits required to be issued by any Government Authority to the Company for the establishment of the Company or to the Company or the Contractors for the construction, financing, ownership, operation, and maintenance of the Facility by the Company or the Contractors, including, without limitation, those Government Authorizations listed in Schedule 1;

Covered Government support contractor means a contractor (other than a litigation support contractor covered by 252.204-7014) under a contract, the primary purpose of which is to furnish independent and impartial advice or technical assistance directly to the Government in support of the Government’s management and oversight of a program or effort (rather than to directly furnish an end item or service to accomplish a program or effort), provided that the contractor—
Government company means any company in which not less than fifty-one per cent. of the paid-up share capital is held by the Central Government, or by any State Government or Governments, or partly by the Central Government and partly by one or more State Governments, and includes a company which is a subsidiary company of such a Government company;
Governmental Agency(ies) means, individually or collectively, any federal, state, county or local governmental department, commission, board, regulatory authority or agency (including, without limitation, each applicable Regulatory Agency) with jurisdiction over the Company or a Subsidiary.
Customer Contracts has the meaning set forth in Section 1.1(b)(ii)(A).
Government Order means any administrative decision or award, decree, injunction, judgment, order, quasi-judicial decision or award, ruling or writ of any arbitrator, mediator, tribunal, administrative agency or Government Authority.
government procurement means the process by which a government obtains the use of or acquires goods or services, or any combination thereof, for governmental purposes and not with a view to commercial sale or resale, or use in the production or supply of goods or services for commercial sale or resale;
Government Agencies means any court, agency, authority, board (including, without limitation, environmental protection, planning and zoning), bureau, commission, department, office or instrumentality of any nature whatsoever of any governmental or quasi-governmental unit of the United States or any State or any county or any political subdivision of any of the foregoing, whether now or hereafter in existence, having jurisdiction over Tenant or any Property, or any portion thereof, or any Facility operated thereon.
Government costs, as used in this clause, means those agency costs that result directly from developing and implementing the VECP, such as any net increases in the cost of testing, operations, maintenance, and logistics support. The term does not include the normal administrative costs of processing the VECP or any increase in this contract's cost or price resulting from negative instant contract savings.
