Global Policy definition

Global Policy means the Global Personal Trading Policy applicable to all Credit Suisse employees, a copy of which will be provided to all Advisory Persons.
Global Policy means (a) this VALORANT Global Competition Policy and each Appendix attached hereto; and (b) any updates, amendments or supplements to the foregoing.
Global Policy means a globally and uniformly applied restriction upon the alienation of Equity in or the sale of businesses of the Multinational Affiliates of a Multinational Business imposed by that Multinational Business or by a regulator which has lawful jurisdiction over that Multinational Business or by any law of application to the Multinational Business. Where the Global Policy is imposed by a regulator or by law, such Global Policy must substantially have been in existence prior to the date of promulgation of the Act;

  • This obligation does not limit employees from reporting possible violations of law or regulation to a regulator or from making disclosures under whistleblower provisions, as discussed in greater detail in the Global Policy for Reporting Illegal or Unethical Conduct and relevant confidentiality policies and agreements.

  • Material changes to this Code and to the Global Policy (insofar as they relate to employees, officers and directors of the Adviser or the Underwriter) must be approved by the Board of Directors/Trustees of each Covered Fund no later than six months after the change is adopted.

  • Advisory Persons are subject to the provisions set forth in Sections III, IV and V of the Global Policy.

  • That approval must be based on a determination that the changes are reasonably necessary, as applicable, to prevent Access Persons from engaging in any conduct prohibited by the Code and Rule 17j-1 under the 1940 Act or to prevent employees, officers and directors of the Adviser or the Underwriter from engaging in any conduct prohibited by the Global Policy and Rule 17j-1 under the 1940 Act.

  • All Advisory Persons shall be bound by the provisions set forth in Sections VI and VII of the Global Policy as applied only to Covered Funds and not all Credit Suisse clients.

  • All purchases and sales of securities are subject to the Short-Term Trading Prohibition in Section VII.A. of the Global Policy and the reporting requirements in Section III.C. below.


More Definitions of Global Policy

Global Policy means a globally and uniformly applied restriction, regulation, or directive imposed on a foreign owned financial institution by the parent company or on any financial institution by a regulator which governs that financial institution.
Global Policy has the meaning given to such term in Clause 2.3 (Global Policy Provisions) of Schedule 12 (Insurance Requirements).
Global Policy means a global Internet number resource policy, as defined in Section 6 of the ASO MoU.

  • Environmental Policy means to conserve energy, water, wood, paper and other resources, reduce waste and phase out the use of ozone depleting substances and minimise the release of greenhouse gases, volatile organic compounds and other substances damaging to health and the environment, including any written environmental policy of the Customer;

  • Fundamental Policies means the investment policies and restrictions as set forth from time to time in any Prospectus or contained in any current Registration Statement of the Trust filed with the Commission or as otherwise adopted by the Trustees and the Shareholders in accordance with the requirements of the 1940 Act and designated as fundamental policies therein as they may be amended from time to time in accordance with the requirements of the 1940 Act.

  • Provider of financial assurance means an entity that provides financial assurance to an Owner or Operator of an underground storage tank through one of the mechanisms listed in these Regulations, including a guarantor, insurer, risk retention group, surety, issuer of a letter of credit, issuer of a state required mechanism, or a state.

  • National Flood Insurance Program means the program created by the U.S. Congress pursuant to the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 and the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, as revised by the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994, that mandates the purchase of flood insurance to cover real property improvements located in Special Flood Hazard Areas in participating communities and provides protection to property owners through a Federal insurance program.

  • Group Policy /”policy” means the breakdown policy as set out in this document;

  • SAP Policies means the operational guidelines and policies applied by SAP to provide and support the Cloud Service as incorporated in an Order Form.

  • Insurance holding company system means a group of two or more affiliated persons, at least one of whom is an insurer.

  • Business Travel Policy means our business travel policy. A copy of our current Business Travel Policy is attached as Schedule 1 to Exhibit B.

  • New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.

  • Safeguard Policy Statement or “SPS” means ADB's Safeguard Policy Statement (2009);

  • Academies Financial Handbook means the DfE’s financial handbook for Academies in force from time to time;

  • Tariff Policy means a Tariff Policy adopted by the Council in terms of Section 74 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000.

  • Monitoring and reporting requirements means one or more of

  • Flood protection system means those physical structural works for which funds have been authorized, appropriated, and expended and which have been constructed specifically to modify flooding in order to reduce the extent of the area within a community subject to a "special flood hazard" and the extent of the depths of associated flooding. Such a system typically includes hurricane tidal barriers, dams, reservoirs, levees or dikes. These specialized flood modifying works are those constructed in conformance with sound engineering standards.

  • R&W Policy means a representation and warranty insurance policy for the benefit of Buyer obtained in connection with this Agreement on the terms described on Schedule 1.01 of the Buyer Disclosure Schedule.

  • Policy Statement means a written description of the current approach of an agency, entitled a policy statement by the agency head or its designee, to implementation of a statute or other provision of law, of a court decision, or of an agency order, including where appropriate the agency's current practice, procedure, or method of action based upon that approach.

  • Flood Insurance Regulations means (i) the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (ii) the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statue thereto, (iii) the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 (amending 42 USC 4001, et seq.), as the same may be amended or recodified from time to time, and (iv) the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 and any regulations promulgated thereunder.

  • Portability means transfer by an Individual Health Insurance Policyholder (including family cover) of the credit gained for pre-existing conditions and time-bound exclusions if he/she chooses to switch from one insurer to another.

  • Paycheck Protection Program means loan program created by Section 1102 of the CARES Act.

  • Rape Crisis Center means an office, institution, or center offering assistance to victims of sexual offenses through crisis intervention, medical and legal information, and follow-up counseling.

  • Insider Trading Regulations means the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, as amended from time to time.

  • Proof of financial responsibility means proof of ability to respond in damages for liability, on account of accidents occurring after the effective date of the proof, arising out of the ownership, maintenance, or use of a motor vehicle, in the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars because of bodily injury to or death of one person in any one accident, and, subject to the limit for one person, in the amount of fifty thousand dollars because of bodily injury to or death of two or more persons in any one accident, and in the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars because of injury to or destruction of property of others in any one accident.

  • Insurance Affordability Program means a program that is one of the following:

  • Flood Insurance means the insurance coverage provided under the National Flood Insurance Program.

  • U.S. Risk Retention Rules means the federal interagency credit risk retention rules, codified at 17 C.F.R. Part 246.

  • Statement of Policy means the summary explanation of information and facility policies
