Global License definition

Global License means a multi-user license for use of the Licensed Materials at multiple sites anywhere in the world by a specified number of users.
Global License means a license for the use of the Software without specific geographic limitations as described and defined in Schedule “A” but subject always to the generally applicable prohibitions set out in section 8 of this Agreement;
Global License means a license designed for legal entities and is based on the following principles. The access to the Software will be provided to (i) unlimited number of Authorized Users of the Licensee, including its branches, or (ii) unlimited number of Authorized Users of the Licensee, and within its subsidiary companies in which the Licensee holds the majority share, as explicitly specified in the respective Order. The specific scope of the particular Global License shall be specified in the respective Order. The Global License shall be a worldwide license, provided that all the aforesaid limitations must be complied with for the entire term of the license. The Global License shall be non-transferable. The Price List may stipulate different prices for companies of different sizes, where the size is specified as a maximal number of employees. This numbers shall be interpreted as the number of full-time equivalent employees and freelancers working for the company. The maximum number of employees will be specified in the Order. Licensor must qualify the price category at the time of placing the Order or renewing the Subscription.

  • Subject to the other requirements of this Agreement, a Restricted Global License allows the Customer to install, operate and use such Licensed Product at any Customer site(s) located in the Designated Country and/or in any Permitted Country.

More Definitions of Global License

Global License. If You purchased a Global License, the Software may be installed and copied on several LICENSEE’s Computers located at, or remotely linked to, multiple physical sites or offices of LICENSEE worldwide and may be used by an unlimited number of End Users. The Global License also authorizes LICENSEE’s Affiliates to use the Software provided they are located at the same LICENSEE’s sites or offices. To the extent that authorized End Users include third party contractors or consultants hired by LICENSEE, the use of the Software shall be made solely in connection with such third party’s performance of services for LICENSEE. LICENSEE shall be responsible for ensuring that any use of the Software by its authorized End Users is made in compliance with the License and this Agreement.
Global License means a License purchased for an unlimited number of Users working for a LICENSEE located at multiple physical sites worldwide or working remotely for such LICENSEE through the Internet. License: has the meaning given to such term in Section 2 of this Agreement.
