Generator Assets definition

Generator Assets means the Generating Facilities and related property, machinery, equipment, facilities and systems, including the Generator Leads and Attachment Facilities, delineated on Annex II as owned by Generator.

Generator Assets means Xxxxx A and Xxxxx B and such other assets and property of the Generator as may be used primarily for the purpose of operating and maintaining Xxxxx A and Xxxxx B, or either of them, which, for greater certainty, do not include any Electricity, By- products, Related Products or Liquid Investments or any assets, property, activities, undertakings, revenues or goodwill of the Excluded Business. “G FMV” has the meaning ascribed to it in Schedule 3. “GA FMV” has the meaning ascribed to it in Schedule 3.

Examples of Generator Assets in a sentence

  • Market Participants are responsible for reporting to the ISO anticipated availability and other information concerning Generator Assets, Demand Response Resources and Dispatchable Asset Related Demands required by the ISO New England Operating Documents, including but not limited to the Market Participant’s ability to procure fuel and physical limitations that could reduce Resource output or demand reduction capability for the pertinent Operating Day.

  • The ISO may communicate with Market Participants with dual-fuel Generator Assets that normally burn natural gas to verify whether the Market Participants have switched or are planning to switch to an alternate fuel.

  • The ISO may request that Market Participants with dual-fuel Generator Assets that normally burn natural gas voluntarily switch to a secondary fuel in anticipation of natural gas supply shortages.

  • Pool-Scheduled Resources are those Resources for which Market Participants submitted Supply Offers, Demand Reduction Offers, or Demand Bids in the Day-Ahead Energy Market and which the ISO scheduled in the Day-Ahead Energy Market as well as Generator Assets, DARDs or Demand Response Resources committed by the ISO subsequent to the Day-Ahead Energy Market.

  • All Market Participants shall submit to the ISO schedules for any External Transactions involving use of Generator Assets or the New England Transmission System as specified below, and shall inform the ISO whether the transaction is to be included in the Day-Ahead Energy Market.

  • These resources operate to maintain a set-point voltage and include, but are not limited to, Generator Assets, Dispatchable Asset Related Demands that are part of an Electric Storage Facility, and dynamic transmission devices.

  • Unless otherwise directed by the ISO, Generator Assets that are required to perform Reactive Capability Audits must perform both a Lagging Reactive Capability Audit and a Leading Reactive Capability Audit.

  • In addition to the payments for oil inventory services, Generator Assets demonstrating their fuel switching capability, as described in Section III.K.4, shall be compensated via NCPC Credits for successful demonstrations of their ability to swap and operate on oil within five hours and otherwise in accordance with the Generator Asset’s approved test plan.

  • Generator Assets and Demand Response Resources shall have a 5% or 5 MWh threshold when determining such deviations.

  • The ISO shall develop a list of Generator Assets that must conduct Reactive Capability Audits.

Related to Generator Assets

  • Generator Owner means the Person that owns the Generating Facility and has registered with the NERC as the Person responsible for complying with all NERC Reliability Standards applicable to the owner of the Generating Facility.

  • Operating Equipment means furniture, furnishings, special lighting fixtures, carpeting, draperies, decorations or other special finishing work, signs, appliances and trade fixtures and equipment that is furnished, installed or used by the Contractor in its operations on the Airport. It does not include Fixed Improvements, or repair or maintenance of Operating Equipment or Fixed Improvements or displays or decorations that are of a seasonal or temporary promotional nature.

  • Generator Operator means the Person that Operates the Generating Facility and performs the functions of supplying electric energy and interconnected operations services within the meaning of the NERC Reliability Standards.

  • embedded generator means a generator who is not a market participant and whose generation facility is connected to a distribution system of a distributor, but does not include a generator who consumes more electricity than it generates;

  • Shared-Loss Assets means Shared-Loss Loans, Other Real Estate purchased by the Assuming Institution, Additional ORE, Shared-Loss Subsidiaries, and Capitalized Expenditures, but does not include Shared-Loss Securities.

  • Off-highway vehicle means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.

  • Field emission equipment means equipment which uses an x-ray tube in which electron emission from the cathode is due solely to the action of an electric field.

  • Stationary x-ray equipment means x-ray equipment which is installed in a fixed location.

  • Generator means a device that produces electricity.

  • Fuel burning equipment means any furnace, boiler, apparatus, stack and all associated equipment, used in the process of burning fuel.

  • Diameter at breast height (dbh) means the diameter of a tree at 4 1/2 feet above the ground measured from the uphill side.

  • Operating Assets means all merchandise inventories, furniture, fixtures and equipment (including all transportation and warehousing equipment but excluding office equipment and data processing equipment) owned or leased pursuant to Capital Leases by the Company or a Restricted Subsidiary.

  • Customer-generator means a user of a net metering system.

  • X-ray high-voltage generator means a device which transforms electrical energy from the potential supplied by the x-ray control to the tube operating potential. The device may also include means for transforming alternating current to direct current, filament transformers for the x-ray tube(s), high-voltage switches, electrical protective devices, and other appropriate elements.

  • Existing Equipment means equipment, machines, devices or installations that are in operation prior to September 23, 1970.

  • Interconnection equipment means a group of components or an integrated system owned and operated by the interconnection customer that connects an electric generator with a local electric power system, as that term is defined in Section 3.1.6.2 of IEEE Standard 1547, or with the electric distribution system. Interconnection equipment is all interface equipment including switchgear, protective devices, inverters or other interface devices. Interconnection equipment may be installed as part of an integrated equipment package that includes a generator or other electric source.

  • Generating Unit means one or more generating equipment combinations typically consisting of prime mover(s), electric generator(s), electric transformer(s), steam generator(s) and air emission control devices.

  • Cogeneration facility means a power plant in which the heat or steam is also used for industrial or commercial heating or cooling purposes and that meets Federal Energy Regulatory Commission standards for qualifying facilities under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 (16

  • surplus assets means the assets after payment of the debts and liabilities remaining on a winding-up of the incorporated association and the costs, charges and expenses of the winding-up;

  • Analytical x-ray equipment means equipment used for x-ray diffraction or fluorescence analysis.

  • Business Assets means all tangible and intangible property and assets owned (either directly or indirectly), leased, licensed, loaned, operated or used, including all real property, fixed assets, facilities, equipment, inventories and accounts receivable, by the Corporation and the Subsidiaries in connection with the Business;

  • Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • Plasma arc incinerator means any enclosed device using a high intensity electrical discharge or arc as a source of heat followed by an afterburner using controlled flame combustion and which is not listed as an industrial furnace.

  • Generator Set means a switcher locomotive equipped with multiple engines that can turn off one or more engines to reduce emissions and save fuel depending on the load it is moving.

  • X-ray equipment means an x-ray system, subsystem, or component thereof. Types of x-ray equipment are as follows:

  • Voting equipment means electronic or electro- mechanical voting systems, voting devices, and auto- matic tabulating equipment as defined in s. 101.5603, as well as materials, parts, or other equipment neces- sary for the operation and maintenance of such systems and devices, the individual or combined retail value of which is in excess of the threshold amount for CATE- GORY TWO purchases provided in s. 287.017.
