Generating Facility definition

Generating Facility means the Generating Unit(s) comprising Seller’s power plant, as more particularly described in Section 1.02 and Exhibit B, including all other materials, equipment, systems, structures, features and improvements necessary to produce electric energy and thermal energy, excluding the Site, land rights and interests in land.
Generating Facility means Developer’s device for the production of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Developer’s Attachment Facilities.
Generating Facility means Seller’s electric generating facility as more particularly described in Exhibit B, together with all materials, equipment systems, structures, features and improvements necessary to produce electric energy at the facility, excluding the Site, land rights and interests in land.

Examples of Generating Facility in a sentence

  • Such telemetered data shall be used, under normal operating conditions, as the official measurement of the amount of energy delivered from the Large Generating Facility to the Point of Interconnection.

  • Such information shall be deemed to be Confidential Information hereunder and shall include information concerning the timing of such modifications and whether such modifications are expected to interrupt the flow of electricity from the Large Generating Facility.

More Definitions of Generating Facility

Generating Facility. Capacity shall mean the net seasonal capacity of the Generating Facility and the aggregate net seasonal capacity of the Generating Facility where it includes multiple energy production devices.
Generating Facility means a source of electricity owned by the applicant or generator that is located on the applicant’s side of the point of common coupling, and all facilities ancillary and appurtenant thereto, including interconnection facilities, which the applicant requests to interconnect to the utility’s electric system.
Generating Facility. All of Seller's generators, together with all protective and other associated equipment and improvements, necessary to produce electrical power at Seller's Facility excluding associated land, land rights, and interests in land.
Generating Facility means Producer's Renewable and Non-renewable Generating Facilities, as more particularly described in Appendix A, together with all materials, equipment systems, structures, features and improvements necessary to produce electric energy at such facility, excluding the Site, land rights and interests in land.
Generating Facility means the Interconnection Customer's device for the production of electricity identified in the Interconnection Application, including all generators, electrical wires, equipment, and other facilities owned or provided by the Interconnection Customer for the purpose of producing electric power.
Generating Facility means each of the photovoltaic, solar powered generating facilities located at the sites listed in Attachment E, and includes all associated photovoltaic panels, mounting assemblies, inverters, converters, metering, lighting fixtures, transformers, ballasts, disconnects, combiners, switches, wires and other equipment that may be necessary to connect the Generating Facility to the applicable Energy Delivery Point.

Good Utility Practice shall mean any of the practices, methods and acts engaged in or approved by a significant portion of the electric industry during the relevant time period, or any of the practices, methods and acts which, in the exercise of reasonable judgment in light of the facts known at the time the decision was made, could have been expected to accomplish the desired result at a reasonable cost consistent with good business practices, reliability, safety and expedition. Good Utility Practice is not intended to be limited to the optimum practice, method, or act to the exclusion of all others, but rather to delineate acceptable practices, methods, or acts generally accepted in the region. Governmental Authority shall mean any federal, state, local or other governmental regulatory or administrative agency, court, commission, department, board, or other governmental subdivision, legislature, rulemaking board, tribunal, or other governmental authority having jurisdiction over any of the Parties, their respective facilities, or the respective services they provide, and exercising or entitled to exercise any administrative, executive, police, or taxing authority or power; provided, however, that such term does not include Developer, NYISO Transmission Owner, or any Affiliate thereof. Hazardous Substances shall mean any chemicals, materials or substances defined as or included in the definition of “hazardous substances,” “hazardous wastes,” “hazardous materials,” “hazardous constituents,” “restricted hazardous materials,” “extremely hazardous substances,” “toxic substances,” “radioactive substances,” “contaminants,” “pollutants,” “toxic pollutants” or words of similar meaning and regulatory effect under any applicable Environmental Law, or any other chemical, material or substance, exposure to which is prohibited, limited or regulated by any applicable Environmental Law. Initial Synchronization Date shall mean the date upon which the Large Generating Facility is initially synchronized and upon which Trial Operation begins.
