General exclusion definition

General exclusion. We assume no greater responsibility than that imposed by the FCA Rules or the express terms of the Terms. Save to the extent that any losses, damages, cost or expense (collectively “Loss”) may not be excluded under English law or under Applicable Regulations, neither we nor our Affiliates or our respective Staff or our agents shall be liable for any Loss caused by any of the foregoing’s negligence, material breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise which is incurred or suffered by you under the Terms (including any Transaction or where we have declined to enter into a proposed Transaction) unless such Loss is caused directly from our, our Affiliates’ or our or their Staff or agents’ respective gross negligence, wilful default or fraud.

  • Classroom exclusion means the exclusion of a student from a classroom or instructional or activity area for behavioral violations, subject to the requirements of WAC 392-400-330 and 392-400-335. Classroom exclusion does not include action that results in missed instruction for a brief duration when:

  • Permanent exclusion means the student is banned forever from attending a public school in the State of Ohio. (See Policy 5610.01)

Heating oil is typically used in the operation of heating equipment, boilers, or furnaces.

  • Second Level Domain “Second Level Domain” has the meaning given to it in this paragraph. “URL” means a web address, including the “http://” and any material appearing after a slash in the address. “Domain Name” means a URL, less the “http://” and any material appearing to the right of the next slash (‘/’) in the address. (So for example, in the URL “Xxxx://xxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/homepage.html”, the Domain Name is “XXXXXXXXX.XXXXXXXXX.XXX”.) “Top Level Domain” means the portion of the Domain Name to the right of the right-most period. (In the example, “COM”.) “Second Level Domain” means that portion of a domain name to the left of the right-most period, up to the second period from the right, if any, plus the Top Level Domain.   • Plate means the license plate, including renewal decals, if any, issued for a vehicle registered under the plan by the base jurisdiction.

  • Building level or district level leader means an individual employed by the District whose job assignment is that of a building level or district level administrator or an equivalent role, including an administrator licensed by the State Board of Education, an unlicensed administrator, or an individual on an Administrator Licensure Completion Plan. Building level or district level leader does not include the superintendent, deputy superintendents, associate superintendents, and assistant superintendents.

  • Top Level Domain means the portion of the Domain Name to the right of the right-most period. (In the example, “COM”.) “Second Level Domain” means that portion of a domain name to the left of the right-most period, up to the second period from the right, if any, plus the Top Level Domain. (In the example, “XXXXXXXXX.XXX”.) “Third Level Domain” means that portion of a domain name to the left of the second period from the right, if any, up to the third period from the right, if any, plus the Second Level Domain. (In the example, “XXXXXXXXX.XXXXXXXXX.XXX”.).

  • Nominal tomographic section thickness means the full width at half-maximum of the sensitivity profile taken at the center of the cross-sectional volume over which x-ray transmission data are collected.

  • exclusive economic zone ’ means the zone established by Presidential Proclamation Numbered 5030, dated March 10, 1983, including the ocean waters of the areas referred to as ‘‘eastern special areas’’ in Article 3(1) of the Agreement between the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Re- publics on the Maritime Boundary, signed June 1, 1990;

  • General Conditions Cost means costs incurred and minor work performed by Contractor without the need for competitive bids/proposals.   • Boiler means an enclosed fossil or other fuel-fired combustion device used to produce heat and to transfer heat to recirculating water, steam, or other medium.

  • Electric bicycle means a “class 1 electric bicycle”, a “class 2 electric bicycle”, or a “class 3 electric bicycle” as defined in this section. (ORC 4511.01(RRR))

  • Analytical x-ray system means a group of components utilizing x-rays to determine the elemental composition or to examine the microstructure of materials.
