Funeral merchandise definition

Funeral merchandise means personal property used for the final disposition of a dead human body, including but not limited to clothing, caskets, vaults, urns, and interment receptacles. “Funeral merchandise” does not include easements for burial rights in a completed space or cemetery merchandise.
Funeral merchandise means that personal property used in connection with the conduct of funerals or with the transportation and final disposition of a dead human body including, but not limited to, caskets, cremation caskets, urns, and burial clothing. The term does not mean mausoleum crypts, interment receptacles preset in a cemetery, and columbarium niches.

Funeral merchandise or "merchandise" means goods sold or offered for sale on a preneed basis directly to the public for use in connection with funeral services.
