Funeral/Bereavement Leave. A. The employee shall be granted a maximum of five (5) paid leave days per death in the immediate family. "
Funeral/Bereavement Leave. In the case of a recent death (within last 12 months) in the employee's immediate family, the employee shall be allowed time off work without loss of pay not to exceed a total of three (3) days (not required to be consecutive), for the purpose of attending the funeral or memorial service, making necessary arrangements, family support or other similar reasons. Additional accrued leave can be taken in conjunction with funeral/bereavement leave. For the purposes of Funeral/Bereavement leave, immediate family shall be defined as spouse, domestic partner, son (biological, step or adopted), daughter (biological, step or adopted), mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, daughter-in- law, son-in-law. Such Funeral/Bereavement Leave shall be charged as Funeral/Bereavement Leave and shall not be charged against any of the Employee's leave accounts.
Funeral/Bereavement Leave. Section 1. An employee shall be granted up to three work days of leave of absence with pay for bereavement in the event of the death of any person residing in the employee's household or any member of the immediate family of either the employee or the employee’s spouse.
Funeral/Bereavement Leave. An Employee shall be granted a leave of absence without loss of pay for up to three (3) consecutive scheduled work days (unless other arrangements are made between the Employee and Supervisor) at his/her request in case of death in the immediate family or member of the household. Funeral/Bereavement Leave. When a death occurs in the immediate family of an employee, (s)he shall be entitled to a leave of up to three (3) days with pay. In addition, employees will be granted an additional two (2) days of paid time when traveling 300 miles or more to attend funeral or memorial services. Further, the employee shall be granted an additional three (3) days unpaid leave of absence in excess of that to which (s)he may otherwise be entitled if such request is submitted by the employee. Bereavement leave may be divided due to timing of services and related circumstances and need not be taken on consecutive days. If an employee is on vacation and a death occurs in the employee's immediate family, the employee may convert such vacation time to funeral leave provided, however:

This leave will be granted to attend the funeral and such time off must be taken at the time of bereavement. In the event of death of spouse, father, mother, child, brother, sister, current stepmother, current stepfather, the employee shall be entitled to three (3) days leave of absence with pay at the time of bereavement. It is understood that in the case of a part-time employee, the compensation shall be at the average hours worked during the preceding four (4) weeks. Time of due to the death of a member of an employee’s family must be taken at the time of the bereavement. An employee’s day of will not be altered to circumvent funeral leave provisions. this leave may be extended with the agreement of the Employer, by using vacation time, R.T.O. or T.A.B.
