Funded Activity definition

Funded Activity means, unless otherwise specified in the FAA applicable to that Funded Activity, a GCF Project and/or a GCF Programme or part thereof;

  • In addition to its other indemnification obligations pursuant to this Agreement, the Recipient hereby agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless District, the County of Los Angeles and their officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims and/or actions related to the Funded Activity that may be asserted by any third party or public agency alleging violations of CEQA or the State CEQA Guidelines or the NEPA.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, if any documentation or other analysis pursuant to CEQA discloses that the Funded Activity, or portion thereof, will have one or more significant environmental impacts that cannot be feasibly mitigated, the Recipient shall promptly notify and consult with the District.

  • With the District's approval, the Recipient may determine to terminate or modify the implementation of all or any portion of the Funded Activity in order to avoid such environmental impacts.

  • The Independent Evaluation Unit may also reasonably request the Accredited Entity to evaluate and measure the results and impacts of the Funded Activity including any impact evaluations that may be agreed upon in advance and for which the Independent Evaluation Unit may be asked to provide advice.

Related to Funded Activity

  • Funded Activities means the activities set out in Annex 2 of these Conditions; Funding Period means the period for which the Grant is awarded starting on the Commencement Date and ending on [INSERT PROJECT END DATE]; General Data Protection Regulations and GDPR means (Regulation (EU) 2016/679); Grant means the sum or sums the Authority will pay to the Grant Recipient in accordance with paragraph 4 of these Conditions and subject to the provisions set out at paragraph 26.

  • Covered Activity means any activity in which a Covered Person must be engaged when a Covered Accident occurs in order to be eligible for benefits under the Policy. These Covered Activities are listed in the Schedule of Benefits and described in the Hazards section of the Policy.

  • School-Sponsored Activity means any activity sponsored, recognized or authorized by the Board and includes activities conducted on or off school property.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Employee agrees to take all reasonable precautions to prevent any unauthorized use or disclosure of any information that may constitute Company confidential information to any parties other than the Government Agencies. The Employee further understands that “Protected Activity” does not include the disclosure of any Company attorney-client privileged communications. Any language in any other agreement between the Company and the Employee regarding the Employee’s right to engage in Protected Activity that conflicts with, or is contrary to, this paragraph is superseded by this Agreement. In addition, pursuant to the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016, the Employee is notified that an individual will not be held criminally or civilly liable under any federal or state trade secret law for the disclosure of a trade secret that (i) is made in confidence to a federal, state, or local government official (directly or indirectly) or to an attorney solely for the purpose of reporting or investigating a suspected violation of law, or (ii) is made in a complaint or other document filed in a lawsuit or other proceeding, if (and only if) such filing is made under seal. In addition, an individual who files a lawsuit for retaliation by an employer for reporting a suspected violation of law may disclose the trade secret to the individual’s attorney and use the trade secret information in the court proceeding, if the individual files any document containing the trade secret under seal and does not disclose the trade secret, except pursuant to court order.

  • Covered Activities means those land uses and conservation and other activities described in Chapter 2.3 of the HCP/NCCP to be carried out by the Conservancy or its agents that may result in Authorized Take of Covered Species during the term of the HCP/NCCP, and that are otherwise lawful.
