Functional Control definition

Functional Control means the Party that specifically performs or causes another party to perform detailed switching operations as authorized by the Party with Jurisdictional Control.
Functional Control shall have the meaning given in the Operation Agreement.
Functional Control means the ability of Transco to control the operation of the Transmission Facilities subject to this Operating Agreement by delegating tasks to the Transmission Owners or Control Area Operators within Transco. The Transmission Owners or Control Area Operators may perform actual physical operations or tasks under the direction of Transco. Functional Control is subject to the Partnership RTO Operating Protocol and Procedures between Transco and the SPP. FERC OR COMMISSION means the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, or any successor agency.

More Definitions of Functional Control

Functional Control means the exercise by the Company of control over the operation of the Transmission System and performance of all of the activities contemplated by Order 2000. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, Functional Control shall include all activities now or hereafter required under Applicable Laws and Regulations to be performed by RTOs.

Related to Functional Control

  • Operational Control means Security monitoring, adjustment of generation and transmission resources, coordinating and approval of changes in transmission status for maintenance, determination of changes in transmission status for reliability, coordination with other Balancing Authority Areas and Reliability Coordinators, voltage reductions and load shedding, except that each legal owner of generation and transmission resources continues to physically operate and maintain its own facilities.

  • Functional Criteria means the criteria set out in clause 27 of this Part C.

For design, Quality Control activities shall include, but not be limited to, procedures for design quality, checking, design review including reviews for constructability, and review and approval of Working Plans. For construction, Quality Control activities shall include, but not be limited to, procedures for materials handling and construction quality, inspection, sampling and testing of materials both on site and at the plant(s), field testing of materials, obtaining and verifying Materials Certifications, record keeping, and equipment monitoring and calibration, production process control, and monitoring of environmental compliance. Quality Control also includes documentation of all QC design and construction efforts. The Scope of Work to be performed as part of the Quality Control task may be changed after the RFQ Phase.

  • approach control service means air traffic control service for arriving or departing controlled flights;

  • Continuous parameter monitoring system (CPMS means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of the Prevention of Significant Deterioration program, to monitor process and control device operational parameters (for example, control device secondary voltages and electric currents) and other information (for example, gas flow rate, O2 or CO2 concentrations), and to record average operational parameter value(s) on a continuous basis.

  • Area Control Error or “ACE” shall mean the instantaneous difference between a Balancing Authority’s net actual and scheduled interchange, taking into account the effects of Frequency Bias and correction for meter error.

  • Traffic control device means a flagger, sign, signal, marking, or other device used to regulate, warn or guide traffic, placed on, over, or adjacent to a street, highway, private road open to public travel, pedestrian facility, or shared-use path by authority of a public agency or official having jurisdiction, or, in the case of a private road open to public travel, by authority of the private owner or private official having jurisdiction.

  • Traffic control signal means a device, whether manually, electrically, or mechanically operated, by which traffic is alternately directed to stop and permitted to proceed.

  • Independent educational evaluation means an evaluation conducted by a qualified examiner who is not employed by the public agency responsible for the education of the child in question.

  • Access control means a system for allowing only approved individuals to have unescorted access to the security zone and for ensuring that all other individuals are subject to escorted access.

  • Analytical x-ray system means a group of components utilizing x-rays to determine the elemental composition or to examine the microstructure of materials.

  • Change Management means the add-on module to the Programs that enables engineers to define network changes through one or more configuration templates.   • Project Operational Manual means the Project Operational Manual, to be adopted in accordance with Section 6.01 (a) of this Agreement, giving details of guidelines and procedures agreed with the Association for the implementation, supervision, and monitoring and evaluation, of the Project, and the procurement procedures and guidelines for Sub-Projects, as same may be amended from time to time in agreement with the Association, and such term includes any schedules to the Project Operational Manual;
