Fronting Bank definition

Fronting Bank means each Lender identified as a “Fronting Bank” on Schedule II and any other Lender (in each case, acting directly or through an Affiliate) that delivers an instrument in form and substance satisfactory to the Borrowers and the Administrative Agent whereby such other Lender (or its Affiliate) agrees to act as “Fronting Bank” hereunder and that specifies the maximum aggregate Stated Amount of Letters of Credit that such other Lender (or its Affiliates) will agree to issue hereunder.
Fronting Bank means Bank of America, N.A., or such other Bank which has notified the Administrative Agent that it is willing to be a Fronting Bank and which is designated by Borrower in its Notice of Borrowing as the Bank which shall issue a Letter of Credit with respect to such Notice of Borrowing.
Fronting Bank means Chase or such other Bank (which other Bank shall be reasonably satisfactory to the Borrower) as may agree with Chase to act in such capacity.

Examples of Fronting Bank in a sentence

  • Purchases and sales of Reallocated Loans shall be without representations from the Fronting Bank other than as provided for in the relevant Assignment and Assumption.

  • A certificate as to the amount of such increased cost and the basis therefor, submitted to each Borrower and the Administrative Agent by such Lender or such Fronting Bank (as the case may be), shall constitute such demand and shall be conclusive and binding for all purposes, absent manifest error.

  • Upon receipt of such notice of intent to resign, the Borrowers and such Fronting Bank may agree to replace or terminate the outstanding Letters of Credit issued by such Fronting Bank and to designate one or more Lenders as Fronting Banks to replace such Fronting Bank.

Fronting Bank means (a) in the case of Fronted Letters of Credit (i) issued in an Alternative Currency, Bank of America and (ii) issued in Dollars, Bank of America and any other Lender that, with the written consent of the Parent Borrower and Bank of America, is a fronting bank; provided that such Lender has agreed to be a Fronting Bank and (b) in the case of Several Letters of Credit, any Person described in clause (a) who has agreed to act as fronting bank on behalf of any Participating Bank.
